I hate to say I told you so but, I got this right on the dot other than Perry Central's score. Shame on me for underestimating Pulaski's defense! Pulaski gets the running clock started in the third and Johnny Hines takes out the starters and the babies even put together an 89 yard drive for a TD!

You sure know your football considering you are from Lee County a football hotbed.

LMAO! I'll give you credit. You wouldn't think someone from Lee County would know anything about KY high school football but, I should probably change my location because I spend more time in Pulaski County than Lee County.

A lot of tuff-guy talk got put to rest tonight. Pulaski absolutely dismantled Perry, and made them like it. 45 yds of total offense came on 1 play in 1st qtr for PCC. They finished the half with just over 50 yds total. 2nd half got real bad! After Pulaski fully opened the can on PCC, the chippyness got pretty bad. Hines pulled the starters to keep someone from getting hurt. Great job by the babies on the last drive of the game! Lined up and smashed it down Perry's throat for a TD to finish off the whoopin.

Congrats to Maroons. Big rematch next week.
#10
I have to say that I dropped the ball on team stats this week. :Sad04: I was having technical difficulties most of the night and didn't get them. I'm sure this makes Perry Central fans happy though!

I only got the 1st Half team stats.

Perry Central:
1 1st Down
50 total yards
17 plays

Pulaski County:
13 1st Downs
247 total yards
43 plays

I believe me and you were the only two on the site that tried to tell people Pulaski and MS would meet at region.
Kudos to you for being right like I was.

IF any Perry Central fans get on here, I am sure we'll hear all of the injury excuses in the world!

On another note, I don't know if you remember this Forever Maroon but, there was either 1 or 2 North Laurel fans warning Pulaski that Perry Central plays dirty and they were right!

Congrats to the Maroons on a dominating performance. I'm glad to see the PCC fanbase put in their place. They talk a lot of smack each season for a team that has never won anything. This will be the 5th season in a row that 2 Somerset/Pulaski teams have played for Regional Championships. Hopefully the Maroons and Jumpers can make it 8 total Regional Championships in that time span.

Who was ejected for Pulaski and does it carry an automatic suspension for next week?
#15
Congrats to the Maroons. Something special goin on down there at Pulaski this year. They have had some good teams in the past but this years bunch seems to be not intimidated by good competition this year. Legitimate state contenders.
#16
Perry Central had a player ejected as did Pulaski. Think it was Hunter Merrick
#17
Great game Pulaski, like someone else posted this one was a bit chippy late.

:HitWall:

Was hoping for a injury free game on both sides, heres to hoping Tristan Tilley is back at full strength next week in the big showdown. Pulaski can't afford to lose another lineman.
#18
Wow, someone hit a nerve this week. Congrats Maroons, Commodores hung tough for a while but Pulaski was too much, good luck next week.

You got that right!!

Hunter Merrick got ejected. I don't think he will carry a suspension because he was just reacting to a dirty play from a Perry Central player. Also, Tristan Tilley had to be carried off the field because of an ankle injury so there is a small chance that the Maroons will be missing 40% of their starting offensive line next week.

I believe you're correct. Stupid play, regardless of how chippy it may have gotten. If he's suspended someone will need to step up and fill the role. Im certain someone can and will do just that!

Congates to Perry on their season.

I think it was more like hanging on for dear life! Only reason why Pulaski wasn't up by 2 more scores at the half is because it was raining and the ball was slippery. Perry Central was NEVER in this game!

Its awful quiet around here today.
All the haters telling me i was crazy for saying PC was the best team in the mountains this year, and the #1 team gets blown out Confusednicker:

Its a good night to be a fan.

Called this one. Congrats to the Maroons!

[I]"Commodores hung tough for a while". Spoken like someone who didn't even see that train wreck. They hung on right up until kickoff. Anyone who was there witnessed the methodical dismantling of the "hanging tough" Commodores.

Well good win Pulaski. Can't wait to watch you play Bowling Green this year. Should be a good one. Lee County did you ever play football? Sound like one of those little Internet nerds that never saw the field.

I'm gonna go watch Lee County play Riverside tonight. See you at the
game.
