Who do got on in this rematch?
11-16-2013, 12:05 AM
I would like to say MHS, but they gotta play twice as good as they did tonight.

Does Jackson get to play for Mayfield and what exactly is the medical reason that he has not played for two games.
11-16-2013, 12:08 AM
I don't think he will play.

I said this on another post. it is hard to beat a good team twice in a same year. I have to say Mayfield in this one.

I tell ya and I hate to say it... but im on the fence on this one.. given the way we played without deon it could be bad... I got word russelville's big running back has a high ankle sprang so that could even things a lil bit.. if there is a team to beat mayfield, this is them.. should be one hell of a game..

Mayfield again. Pick Mayfield until someone beats them.

Our run d looked really good this week. We held Holy Cross to just 71 total yards. We just need to avoid stupid things, like running into the kicker.

Mayfield and Russellsville hmm can't make my mind up on this game :biglmao:

I agree that not having Deon takes away at least a couple of scores from our offense, so that could make the game closer than last matchup, but if Russellville's back is out, could even things up.

I don't think the Panthers will score 3 touchdowns this time.
11-16-2013, 12:13 PM
Mayfield 27
Russellville 13
Russellville 13

Mayfield by 10+

Russ came out and smacked us in the mouth the first time and did so running some stuff we had not seen before but once we adjusted to it in the second and the game from there on was very lopsided. There is no reason I see not to expect a similar result. Jackson will be missed but the reciever core is deep, very deep with multiple recievers who catch multiple balls and have all season. Unless Russ can find some new wrinkles I expect a similar outcome and if you really look at the matchup close I see no way not to draw a similar opinion

I kinda feel better today than I did last night about this. I'm not sure they can score more than 14 on us now.

I really like to see Mayfield win but I said when these teams met back earlier in the year that who ever won that game would lose in the playoffs if they met again...But I hope im wrong..

Either we will show up from the opening kick off or we will be done early. I personally think we will be ready and that we have gotten better on defense.

At this level, heart and desire wins the game between two evenly matched teams.

Like I said, if you truly look at the facts, it's a no brainer! They are not evenly matched and even if they are Mayfield has the advantage of being at home and they have the history on their side. Mayfield expects to win this game, Russellville hopes they can but has some doubt in their minds. This is a product of Mayfield always winning

Evenly Matched??? When are teams Evenly matched when they have played once and one had the scored doubled on them?
I will concede that Russellville has a good team and Mayfield will have to have a bad game for Russellville to have a shot.

Mayfield has become the alpha dog of 1A. If you bet on them every game you will make money.
11-17-2013, 12:53 PM
Just don't let 64 bet on us. I've seen that could be the kiss of death for a lot of teams.
11-17-2013, 03:38 PM
Mayfield - 31
Russellville - 20
Russellville - 20
11-17-2013, 04:10 PM
I don't think they will score 3 times on us this time. Adjustments!!!!
