USA Today visits Belfry to honor Coach Haywood
#1
Several recognitions last night! Coach honored for his 300th win (at Belfry) against Jackson County, USA Today spent the day in Belfry and the area, and pep section dedicated/named after BHS faithful Mrs. Brenda Phillips!

EXCELLENT write up and video coverage from USA today

Very moving emotionally for me to read the piece. Something to rally behind when so many people are finding their livelihood disappearing.

I hope the administration finds a way to prominently display the banner.

You got to love a guy who hates the limelight and fanfare, you can tell he does not care about this award for himself at all, what he cares about was how the award has boosted the spirits of his community and the people around him, refreshing to see in an increasingly self centered nation. All of Kentucky should be proud that he is the face of Kentucky High School football to the country!!! I pray that God would bless me to make a smidgen of a difference in the lives of others like Coach H has..Well done!
