Great game 1st time around @ Southern.
Who wins this time and by how much? This time the game is at Pulaski Co.
The Regional Championship awaits the winner!! I will go with Damion Harris and the Eagles. :1:

It was a great game last time and I am really looking forward to seeing this game.Harris is the real deal. I do think Pulaski county on their home field will win this game.

I also think Pulaski will win, but that margin I think is to big. I think PC can score 30 but I don't think they can hold MS to 2 scores. 28-20

Madison Southern's defense comes up with big plays and they have an underrated special teams play.

I agree it's going to be close. But I think PC may be a little bit better top to bottom, especially at home. It's going to be what a regional championship game should be.

Pulaski has been my favorite in the region since HC struggled. But Madison Southern is coming like gang busters. This game could go either way.

I go with Pulaski in a close one. Harris doesn't play on defense. 40-35

Who says this...he hasn't played since the Pulaski game, he had an INT during the North Laurel game and has two or three on the year.

I think this will be a great game...I'm pulling for the local kids to pull it off. I believe this would be Pulaski's first Region Championship, maybe second but I think it would be their first.

Pulaski County as a whole will have two teams in the Semi's...PC 24-MS 14

It would be their second. They won the Region over Letcher County Central and played Highlands in semi-state during the 2009 playoffs.

Oh the 2009 year.
What a waste for Whitley County football.
Big oppertunities followed by big time dissapointment, not necessarily on the field but off the field.

I know Harris is the real deal. I witnessed it 1st hand against HC. They held him in check for most of the game until the 2nd half. That's when the dam broke! PC must have a good defense to have done a good job on him the 1st time. I think MS will find a way to win. They are the 4th best team HC played this year. It will be a very good regional championship game between to very good teams. I hope that there are no injuries and the winner advances all the way to BG! Good Luck to both teams!

It all depends on how well MS contains that quarterback for PC. That kid too has wheels as well as Harris. If the defense on either team steps up in containment of either of the other team's stars, then they win. I was really impressed with the QB from Pulaski as well as their swarming defense. Of course the Harris kid is a burner when he gets outside and I think the Hagen kid from MS will lock down the middle of the field for MS. It will be an outside containment game....again... for both teams. Of course MS will continue to ride on the back of Harris like a big city park pony and heck....why wouldn't they? You don't bring a knife to a gun fight...right? I won't pick my favorite because it seems when I do, I jinx that team. Good luck to both teams...may nobody get hurt and may the winner advance and play well for the eastern side of the state.

Papa brings up a VALID point. The QB for Pulaski is one heck of a ball player and doesn't get the credit he deserves around the state. Coaches and fans who have seen him know to well how tough this kid is. He isn't quite the burner Papa said he is but he is a VERY SMART runner who pulls it down at the right time.

Going with the Maroons in this one.

Me, too Chili!! I haven't seen Pulaski play this year, but reading the threads I think they will have more offense than given credit.
Also they came away with a win at MS, so this time they are going to enjoy home field advantage.
I doubt they will hold MS under 30!

The last meeting between the two was one of the most comfortable 3-point wins I've ever seen in a football game. Pulaski controlled that game from the start and it wasn't near as close as the score indicated. With that said, I think getting Harris off of turf will help out the Maroons. I expect Harris to be hit hard and often by the Pulaski defense much like last game. As I predicted last time, he'll get his 200 yards and 2 or 3 scores, but I shouldn't be enough to overtake PC's high powered offense. Good luck to both teams.

a lot of points goes up on the board in this one wouldn't be surprised if winner has to score 40 to pull out the victory
