Bowling Green's Naricus Fant is Mr. football

A source tells me that Nacarius Fant will be named Mr. Football today. He is the first Mr. football form Bowling Green High. A well deserved honor. I'm glad the voters weren't blinded by all the hype.

Im glad these guys done the right thing.
This kid deserved it.

Not only was he the best player in the state, IMHO, hes the best college prospect as well.

A lot of schools are going to be mad they missed out on this kid when hes at WKU.

It's a shame, when the state's top player isn't even offered by Louisville or UK. I don't think he would have accepted, but you never know. WKU is going to be loaded. The Ferby kid from Ensworth is a monster and a great pick up. Boise State East! Smile

When you get to this level,all choices are over hyped. Congrats to the young man from Bowling Green. All had earned their place but deserving, that's a different plateau. That is very difficult to define. The four up for the award worked just as hard as the other.

Dudley Hilton will be new coach and Chuck Smith will be the defensive coordinator. Joker will be the recruiting coordinator. They love Joker in Bowling Green. He was able to bring UK to WKU's level.

Offensive coordinator Jeff Brohm was given the head coaching job. He was their head recruiter and the incoming freshman love him. WKU will make some noise next year. Little known fact, Jeff Brohm threw Terrell Owens his first touchdown pass. Brohm has been groomed to be a head coach and thinks he can take WKU to new heights. I hope he does.
