Welcome to Corbin, Coach.

Congrats to coach Haddix, thanks for all you done for Perry Central and best of luck at Corbin.

Cong: to a very good young coach. Best of luck at Corbin, plan to see you play.

Congrats to Coach Haddix. I won't act like he was my favorite as I really was pushing for Tommy Reid to get the job but I do think Justin will do a fine job at Corbin. It's unfortunate that Reid was offered the job only for the certification to not clear but things will work out. Here's wishing the best. Good days are ahead for the red white and grey.

Glad to see he took it. Offense just got better, but defense just got worse. Good luck will see you soon.

Nah Greer will Coach the defense. It is time for the Corbin, Bell and Whitley cycle to begin again.

I think the situation with Reid was a blessing in disguise.

Looking forward to the new direction Corbin is headed.

Looks like Haddix is heading up in the world of football. Had a good thing going on at PCC and then got the new stadium and field. Good luck to him at Corbin and to PCC on finding a coach. It's pretty late in the game (spring ball over) and that is what I hate about it for PCC. There have certainly been a lot of high profile coaching changes this season. Getting almost like the college football coaching carousel.

Coach Jewell was a very good defensive coach, especially against the run. It will be interesting to see who the defensive coaches will be next season.

Nice hire by Corbin.

Corbin has just hired a PURE WINNER as a coach. Justin is by far the best football coach to ever coach in the Perry County school system. I feel like Justin may be coaching Division 1 football or maybe in the NFL some day. I have never known anyone to love the game of football as much as him. I loved to give him a hard time on the message boards but he is a good friend and I will miss having him around. Coach Haddix we were lucky to have you here at PCC. Good luck to you and your family brother. Good luck to the Hounds and Congratulations on getting the best coach around.

I'm not as excited about this hire as many on here. I'm not saying its a bad hire but the jury is still out on this one IMO. i just don't understand all the love fest for Haddix. After looking at his record, IMO the win over N Laurel last year was his biggest in four years. I honestly thought there were a couple other better choices. I was actually expecting a shocker but I'm eating crow tonight. Don't get me wrong, I'm excited for the change at Corbin and I want Haddix to do great. The smartest thing he can do is run Farris off on day one. If he does that then he'll be successful. Good luck coach Haddix I wish you the best.

Ha ha, Corbin. You're screwed.

Out of the 6 interviewed who was your homerun hire?

Thinking this was the best choice, many years coaching ahead of him.

Thanks to coach Haddix and good luck at Corbin. It will be interesting he wanted other jobs I know since Feb. Perry and Corbin was to play at Perry in Sept. I believe This will be interesting if he doesnt win 4 years if he does he be there until he retires.

I tend to lean on the fence on this one.
I can see why so man are excited by the prospects of a new direction, with a young coach who obviously knows football, and more importantly that the players will probably like.
However, I can also see the other side. Even though it was Perry, where football seems to come in a distant second and the talent may not be what it will be at Corbin, he still had a rough time getting anything consistent going.
Only time will tell which is right, and im not even going to begin to guess.
Hopefully, this is a great sign for a Corbin/Whitley game though. I know Chapman will play Corbin, and Haddix has been playing Whitley ever since he first became a coach. I think as long as both Administration are okay with it, it will happen. Jewell was the only thing stopping it before.
Make it happen.
