Pre-Season Mountain Top 10
pjdoug Wrote:Pulaski is in the coverage area ,but Wayne County is actually more mountainous than Pulaski.

There might be 3 teams in the state capable of hanging 50 on this Belfry team and ain't a damn one named Pulaski Co.

Are you still that sore about Belfry shutting out that "high-powered", Mr. Football led offense of Wayne County? I probably would be too if I talked smack all weak prior to the game and didn't have sack enough to admit the better team won.

Again, you're a clown and a troll. I'm done with you.

I'm a Whitley County fan. Pulaski would take Belfry to the woodshed:biglmao::truestory:
Some of you guys have no idea about football. Pulaski is a good team but let's not get carried away.
I am as big a Belfry fan as anyone, but sometimes I think our fan base gets a bit proud. Johnson Central hung 50+ on Belfry last season and I doubt many would argue they were a top 3 team statewide.

That said, I agree with Buc Wild that Pulaski would be held under 50. Wink
TigerBlues Wrote:That sounds like a term Obama would use ....

Just clarifying the confusion.
I dont think PC would take belfry to the woodshed, but I do think they would be a 3 TD favorite.
PC is scary good right now. When I was watching the Hall kid in 8th grade, I knew he was going to be something special. Everyone was talking about the Hatcher kid back then, but this kid looked a lot better to me, and its showing now.

Pulaski ain't no JC and this years Belfry team wasn't that good. But they were better than everybody else in 3A . RIUTG wouldn't know football if it weren't for reading about it on BGR.

Pulaski would be looking for a running clock, but we'd be subbing first. You guys get way too into this class system garbage. Pulaski county football is SOFT, and that goes for most SEKY schools. 5A is weak, although BG is a dominant school in any class. Other than Pulaski what other 5A schools are there in the eastern part of the state that are even remotely consistent. Idc about 5A EKY football because it's non-existent. Winning a 3A or 4A title, especially 4A, is far more impressive. Playing in that game once in a blue moon gets the Maroons no love from me.

PjDoug. Your still a clown.

You are about goofy!
#1 Your right, Pulaski aint no Johnson Central because they are probably a little better. I think they did pretty good against Bowling Green who I think were ranked pretty high nationaly. You also got to consider that they were pretty young and last year and it was never suposed to be their year, but this year I think they have a legitimate shot at the 5a title.

#2 Do you really think you could subb against Pulaski. lol

#3 I think there are more then 3 teams who could hang 50 on Belfry.

#1Trinity
#2 Highlands
#3 Covington Cath
#4 Bowling Green
#5 Scott County
#6 Collins and it could be more :eyeroll:

Pulaski is overrated and both of can kiss my a$$
I'm a big believer in "to be the man, you gotta beat the man"! As long as the Pirates hold hardware that was handed to them in Bowling Green, that does all the talking I need to hear. I'm not saying they would beat anyone they play, but if you get one of those trophies, you probably have a pretty good defense. Anybody remember how many points they gave up in the State Final????
Here is what some don't understand about a Belfry/Pulaski matchup....yes PC is a good team..But Belfry has something called a smart Coach, who can study a teams film and find a weakness so to say PC would hang 50, uh no way, we would pound and pound the ball not letting PC's offense get a chance..Coach Haywood is a Time of Possession King...yes Johnson Central did hang 50 on us, and they were good also but we we're also playing hurt and no way they hang 50 on the Defense that shows up a couple weeks after that game...but last year is over its a new year...

Confusednicker:

All bow to the almighty Belfry....KINGS of the mythical mountain top 10 :notworthy:
And you wonder why people dislike Belfry. Its because of fans like you.

And Pulaski is soft? I may not know much about football, but atleast I know more football than the little bit that is played in Pike County. Maybe you should leave it every once in a while. That same region (SEKY) had Bell teams alone that would have smoked Belfrys ass the better parts of the past 15 years.

I cant take a person serious that thinks Pulaski County is East Kentucky and has trouble distinguishing fantasy from reality. I do like Belfry's coach and program but sometimes you have to get over the arrogance and be realistic.
These responses are meaningless...no one knows how good teams would do against each other till they line up and play...JC, Pulaski, Bell and Belfry would all be good match ups and all the teams would cause the others problems, but who wins? Who knows and who cares?...Belfry only cares about who they play each Friday and how do they get better each game so they can have a chance at the end of the season.
^
Which is why a pre season "mountain top 10" is meaningless, but some think its better than a state title.
since this is the end of the 2 yr deal for PCB, call and see if Pulaski wants to play Belfry next yr in it...
Why is bell co even mentioned in this when they can't even beat the little 2a school just down the road from them haha
The Don Marshall Bowl is available in 2015. Would be a fun bowl to see PC, SW, Johnson Central & Belfry all in 1 night. Talk about a packed house
RisingJackets Wrote:Why is bell co even mentioned in this when they can't even beat the little 2a school just down the road from them haha

I can help. PRE-SEASON ranking are factoed in 2 ways, IMO. How the teams finish the season and what they have coming back. Both of those things factored together, Bell Co. will be in most peoples top 6-7. They pass the look test today, with that said we usually do not ndo this well in 7-7, just not our style passing all the time. See ya soon.

so a soft overrated team would cause Belfry problems? contradicting yourself.
pjdoug Wrote:so a soft overrated team would cause Belfry problems? contradicting yourself.
Any team can cause another team problems on any given night. Heck, even Pike co. Central have belfry problems on the first half last year during the regular season and then like always Haywood regrouped and the Pirates came out and obliterated them in the 2nd half. Obliterated is an understatement.

Belfry is really in trouble when Pike central gets Dudley :biglmao:

Pulaski will be scary good in 2015

Coach + not enough talent still = not beating belfry.

Might ought to get your replies to the right person...I never called Pulaski soft or overrated...get it right boy or girl!
