The parody that has seem to happen over the last few years in the east is the reason I expect Williamsburg to. Maybe they'll break the trend. But looking at the last 2 seasons its happened. In 2012 Just depended on when. In '12 Raceland flopped against a Pikeville team thy had beaten by 40 pts earlier in the season, in doing so, missed their shot at revenge on Fairview(lost in the district to them without beach for 3 quarters). Then Hazard flopped against Fairview in the same year, picking a heck of a time not to play run defense. Imo, Raceland and Hazard at full strength would havebeaten Fairview and one of the two were the best team in the east. Last year, Raceland and Pikeville seemed to be the favorites (no one but a select few OUTSIDE of, new wburg was legit defensively), Raceland got over the hurdle and flopped the following week. Williamsburg has my respect, I just think something will happen to cause them to slip up. If starting a pissing contest is your desire topnotch, it wont go far. Raceland flopped when Wburg smacked them in the mouth upfront. These lineman this year got smacked around all year last year in practice, this line is as strong, but meaner and faster. Raceland isnt a top 5 1A team yet, Wburg is, thats the right call. But come post season time, none of this matters. I stand by my feeling that Wburg will flop. Nothing against them, just my opinion .

Williamsburg is better this year. they will be hard to beat.

Is Shane Creekmore from Corbin coaching at Williamsburg this year? He was a players favorite coach at Corbin.

Seems like everyone would just play the best teams in the state and nation and then win state championship every year.

It certainly helps to prepare them. You combine that with the coaching and the right athletes and there you go. It is the most overlooked part of the game. You only get better when pushing yourself. So go cry somewhere else. It's a simple fact.
