I will tell you that Whitley Co. has another QB coming up. This Kid is in the 7th grade I think. His name is Dalton Ponder he is absolutely the best that I have ever seen at that age. He is at Williamsburg, You would have to see him play to believe me. I have seen A lot of kids and some of them were very good but this Kid is in A different league. You would have to see him play to know how good he is. His football instincts are way out in front of his age.

It was told to me just last night that, NL 8th grade last season beat Corbin's
8th grade 3 times. NL's JV/Freshmen (this season), QB, RB's & Receivers are as good as any in the state! Best defense I have seen in years that age group. NL - JV held SL to 0 pts scored yesterday! Both of those teams are undefeated. Would love to see them play Corbin this year. Probably won't happen! :Sad04:

NL has a really good Freshman QB. I think he is one of the coach's kids, but I don't believe he is Larkey's kid, not sure about that? Glenn, said he was #28 under most jersey numbers they wear. We watched him in a couple of games -he had a different number one game. He was top notch in all areas, he had an arm -completed MANY passes that one night & could also run the ball really well. His defense was stellar along with #22 & 60 the night we caught them play! I never know who anyone on these teams are, never can find a program being sold??? Have to try to sit by someone that knows the kids personally to know who they are. :HitWall:

NL had a game scheduled with Johnson Central & JC cancelled it. They were talking about it on here on another page, we had planned on going to that game. Hope they can reschedule it. :phone:
