Have not seen either play this year but looking at schedules, Mayfield has beat some very good teams (so has beechwood) and will be a tough out for beechwood. This should be a very good game.

Hoping I am right on this one. These are 2 teams that I have a great deal of respect for. Both are steeped in football tradition and IMHO it is a shame that this is a semifinal matchup. The east/west cut line is ubsurd. But in any event, it is what it is. I like Beechwood at home in a nail biter.

Beechwood played two teams that are still alive in the playoffs. They went 1-1 against them.

Mayfield has the best defense in 1a and their strength is against the run.

Final fact, Mayfield wins by more that 2 touchdowns.
