I mean would it be any other way. Throw Junior in the Lysol car and change his last name and he would be another Carl Long!

I'm a Jr fan, not because of who his daddy was, but just because I like the kid, as for being over rated, sure he is, who wouldn't be when you're flung into the spot light like he was after Sr's death, those were mighty mighty big shoes he was told to fill, and we all know that feat is and was impossible, does he have trouble winning on certain types of tracks, yea he does, does he have the "desire" to win that daddy had, no I don't think he does, but can he drive, yes he can or I don't think he'd be there weekend after weekend, alot of the problems (IMO) last year were within the company, (along with trying to work with family...shoot I've tried that and it's not fun *lol*). I'm not really sure Teresa is the right person to be running the company to bring DEI into the forefront, and I do believe there's a problem between Jr and Teresa that has been brewing for a few years. I do believe Jr can and will win championships, but he'll never measure up in everyone's eyes as the driver his daddy was, regardless what he wins or how many. As for driving the #3, I think its good and bad. I see it as respect for his daddy but it can be seen as Jr's last ditch attempt to be a "star".

"PLAYBOY5" Wrote:He will drive it when he is at the absolute rock bottom so everyone can say that Jr is reborn, he is drivin' dale's car. Gosh all of this Jr.-Sr. crap gets old! Who care's. Fans, there is no more Sr. Time to deal with the obvious as bad as it is. Jr. is average and stats don't lie. He is where he is because of his dad because he got put into the best possible position. Any person who can drive a stick can win as many races that Jr. has won because he has as good equipment as the best. NASCAR has to try to take care of it's face. I am no Gordon fan but Jr. can't hold his you know what! And this all is REALITY so LIVE WITH IT!Just because of this post, I believe I will make this topic a classic thread. Loved it Playboy. I have never liked Jr. or Sr. and could care a less what Jr. does. He's overrated big time.
