A few Ashland fans in the stand tonight for this game getting ready for Tuesday. This may have been one of Russells better games they passed better moved better Liked the move of letting #9 move from defense to playing some offense looked pretty good and comfortable doing this in the games I watched have not seen that before hope to see more of it. I agree Russell still looks to be top dog in district and region with Rowan close behind. 15 22 and 26 had a great game. Russell has some young pups that know how to play and give plenty of hustle but they struggle a little bit with size not quite strong enough yet but they play with guts. Of the four games I watched all the bench players can come in and play 8 11 12 17 and the rest cant remember all numbers can come in without any dropoff. Good team now bright future especially with all getting playing time.Big game Tuesday hope everyone comes out and supports their teams. I think Ashland may be ready if the can get an early score or two. Looking forward to a good game good luck to both teams

The upcoming Ashland/Russell game will not even be close. Russell by 4 goals at least. It all comes down to travel players - Russell has more than Ashland. Russell also has a GA of 4 and Ashland has 14. GF are not even that close. No one in the area can contain Russell's star freshman striker and won't be able to for the next 3 years. To think so is ludicrous.
