Highlands 45-2

Highlands goes down again. Schedule does not get easier to Cov Cath shows up.

If Simon Kenton is half as good as UK1Fan believes them to be, there will be a running clock in this one by halftime. Highlands is not very good. This game should not be close.

Simon Kenton will win going away. Highlands is terrible this year.

would not be surprised to see SK put a running clock on HHS in first half. Watched HHS Friday against an good (not great) X and they looked awful and worse than week before. Only wins I see rest of year are Grant, Dixie and maybe Cov Cath. It is not a good year for the birds, but everybody else is loving it!

Is it true Highlands is going to start taking out of district kids again?
09-22-2015, 05:14 AM
They wouldn't be 1 and 4 if they played kids both ways. They would not be undefeated. But might have beaten Cooper and Ryle.

Need to get them while they are down. Highlands want be down very long most likely.
09-22-2015, 02:55 PM
I would love to see SK with a running clock. That should make the HHS fans just a little more humble. No reason SK loses this game, They out work HHS.

Toothless wonder? I love killbilly's posts. He's amongst the most intelligent posters on the site and it's great seeing him taking a stand for Highlands. I too think that Simon Kenton will be walking out with a big L.
Highlands' opponents should enjoy this season. In a couple of years Highlands will be back to putting running clocks on everybody again.

Glad I got someone from the bird's camp attention. Maybe you can answer the question. Is Highlands opening up enrollment to non-district "students"? The reasoning for shutting down enrollment was due to lack of space. Are they finding room or is there alumni getting nervous?

Not at all. Highlands will do what has always been done to win, and that is work hard and get better. This year isn't over yet. I'd love nothing more than for the Birds to be able to sneak up on everybody in the playoffs and then squash Bowling Green in the finals. Even if it doesn't happen this year, it won't take long for Highlands to reload and dismantle everybody again. In 2006 Highlands went 7-5 losing to Cov Cath in the regionals. After Cov Cath dismantled BG in the state finals, Highlands bounced back to win several state titles in a row.

Hard work and getting better doesn't answer the question...... Are they opening the doors or not. They wouldn't have won all titles without the outsider help. Don't even think about Bowling Green, CCH is licking there chops.

I heard extra recruiting this year!

Think that is a toss up. Both have played great schedules. I give the edge to to CCH and there new coach.

Seems like when Highlands went from 4A To 5A Highlands went from the Bigger fish in a Small pond To a guppy in an Ocean! Seems like the division move has for sure hurt Highlands more than helped.
I pick Simon Kenton 55-14

Are you really serious with this garbage? What year would they not have won with your purported "outsider" help? Really love to hear the names that get thrown out here.
