Pulaski to play remaining home games at Northern Middle?
#1
Any truth to this rumor? Something about field conditions?
#2
You mean those fields weren't done right?
#3
Does the middle school have the seating capacity for a Maroon/SW regional final?

I'm sure Somerset would let them use their field, for a small fee!!Confusednicker:

No way. Parking would be awful too.

I'd just go on the road and split the gate.
#6
So let me get this straight. They pay all of that money to redo the field and its already torn up? Hmmm.:pondering:

Was there new sod put down? When did they put it in?
#9
Just seen pictures of their field, it really looks rough. Mud everywhere, money wasted.

About 3-4 weeks before season started. But they got a couple more weeks where they were on the road. They got their's a couple days before SW.

Amateur hour out there in Somerset

Act like you been there before Pulaski! Get it together!
#12
Should have been put in last spring
#13
Looks like the turf would have been way to go.
#14
Can't put sod down in the heat of summer and expect it to do well

Where is Hal Rogers when you need him. Confusednicker:

If this is true, there should be some heads rolling in administration. A total waste of money and a total embarrassment for a program that's just won a championship.
#17
Two really good programs in Pulaski County system. administration should make an effort to give them first rate facilities.

Where is North Middle?

I heard today at Sports Den while trying to find my puppy PJ Doug a Pulaski outfit to wear to the game Friday that PC field was destroyed again due hosting a Professional Rodeo this past Saturday. I was like WTFConfusederiously:

Seems to me back in the spring, it was going around that PC was getting turf. I was there in the spring and it looked like people had been on the field cutting doughnuts in a mule or gator. The field they had was fine if they had taken proper care of it. I mean it is grass.....how hard can it be to get grass to grow on a field???

Whitley County sure does have a nice field. Why cant Pulaski have one like it?

Pulaski County sure does have 3 good teams. Why can't Whitley have one like them?
#26
I really hope this isn't true, the kids out working their butt off to represent the school and community deserve so much better.
#27
On a serious note, I think the Pulaski BOE should look in to leasing the Briar Patch or Linsey Wilson college for their remaining home games. It's sad to spend all that money for a new playing surface and still have a team playing in 3 inches of mud every home game.
#28
Part of me thinks it's funny that pc field is ruined again, but part of me thinks it's sad knowing we have people in high places in the administration that would purposely allow this to happen. Money well spent.
