Ah, the ole "your team sucks worse than my team" response.
Do you really think anyone has been tougher on Whitley than me on this board? I consistently tell it like it is and have said several times how bad they are on defense. Its the reason they have 4 losses.
As for North, I don't think they are good either. Sorry. I just don't. You are a one dimensional team that has enough horses to run all of the bad teams over you have played this year. Not too mention, you were only up one score late in the third against Whitley.
Point is, you have played a weak schedule to stuff your stats and pad your record and it is going to be a tough route in the playoffs.

You are right! Bet you weren't expecting that response!! But...one thing I will point out Whitley & North both have their strengths & weaknesses. There are things about both those teams that could be tweaked that could be the difference in their being good & great. North can not defend on a pass - they are only fair at best on the run against a good team. Whitley's defense isn't where it needs to be at all. North does not utilize their talent at skill positions at all, and that hurts the team. Running the same plays over & over against good teams - you eventually hit teams that know how to scout you properly & they can put a stop to same old same old. That applies more to North than Whitley. About their schedule...think about it when KHSAA moved them this year they had teams they had to play...with other games out of the district already locked in. Who knew these teams were so down this year???

actually both teams are weak, and it is no secret that Whitley County is way down and trying to rebuild, but when an idiot from a losing team or cant even decide which team he supports constantly bashes them I will defend them

First, I couldn't agree more with what you said. Good response.
As for the bolded, North petitioned to move districts. The KHSAA had them in district 7 again and they asked to move to district 8 so both district could have 5 teams, which is fine in theory. But one wonders if it was done because of the difference in competition of both districts. North went from almost having a 10-0 regular season, to maybe going on the road in the playoffs this week had they stayed in that district. Either way, its fine that's not what matters.
Its the out of district competition that hurt them evolve there game and pressure them into throwing the ball.

Everyone has a favorite team! I sure don't blame anyone defending the team they support. Also don't blame fans-supporters pointing out what their team could do in order to be a better team! Even a coach can't catch everything!

I said on here before in hind sight, they should have left well enough alone and not tried to even things up but in there defense the KHSAA didn't know at the time Madison Southern was going down in class and it would make it lopsided again. North has QB now they don't know how to use, sad in a way!!

I kept waiting on coach Larkey to work on the passing game in all those blowouts. he never did. The team he has is talented enough to not be one dimensional. hope they make a big run in playoffs.
11-02-2015, 06:54 PM
before this game north had 49 td on the year 42 of those by two kids and only 5 td passing all year. As good as damien was at madison southern They couldnt beat the good teams like that.
