It just seems that he has a tendency to be out for the big time games. That's either tough luck or something else
He played in 3 of 8 possible playoff games in his HS career and only one of those on the road. I am of course counting the Scott game as a game not played.

I kinda feel bad for him. He has all the talent and speed in the world, but pitiful coaching and the nut cases at Ashland ruined him and what he could have truly become.

Ashland coaching staff needs to change big time

There were definitely decisions made this year that I would like to know the reasoning. Some of it doesn't make sense. Here is one, why is a QB who you have basically eliminated from playing be in the game with 2 minutes left in the half? If the starter was hurt I didn't know that. But the score was 18-7 Ashland with 2:03 left and a bad exchange caused a fumble recovered inside the 10 and led to the second Scott TD and all the energy they needed to take the lead in the second half.

This sounds like an excuse. Top players play through pain and most would not sit out playoff games with a sprained ankle. I suspect the coaches aren't too sad. Prima donnas can be headaches. Tell me Ashland fans, am I wrong?

Truth is.................the coaches know the truth.

Raceland had two kids play hurt all yesr including the two playoff games .. One had Torn mcl and will have surgery in December the other had a hamstring that was nothing but a big knot and he was basically running on one leg . Their qb couldn't Hardly walk on his ankle but played against Ashland . My point is all teams have kids who play hurt exception being Ashland

Not true exactly

Not sure about the decision to let him come back in with 5 minutes left, but I don't personally know him, the Ashland coaches, or their dynamics. Obviously, they respect his thoughts. Which with your star player, you usually do listen. I guess he thought they wouldn't need him, and when they did, he figured he would try. If so...I can't disrespect the desire to get out there and try, no matter how hurt you are. Up 18-0, it's easy to sit. Down 28-18...your guts come out. And Q obviously has some, no matter his past. I wish him the best at Marshall.

It's been a long time since I've posted, but I've followed the teams seasons pretty close. I have a hard time agreeing with people who call for coaches jobs...what is your reading behind this thought process? 9-3 is a dream for most EKY programs.

Tony love is not the problem at Raceland

What's not true exactly ?? I've seen where people would post things like this kid is totally healthy or practiced today and you would say that's not true and you were correct . That's why I'm asking

No excuse at all, I personally cannot stand the Ashland program. Ashland's biggest problem is Ashland, no one does more to ruin their season than they do. I do agree prima donnas can be headaches, I've had dealings with the coaching staff and the Ashland administration and i would call them spineless, and I've had dealings with this players dad and he's a nut case, I however have no real dealings with the player in question.

I thought you were making a blanket statement about all the Ashland kids. There were kids playing less than 100%.

I remember Coach Love from when he was the head wrestling coach at APB, he was always respectful and a great guy to deal with.
Does the APB faithful think he will be the coach in August 2016?
