Wayne County @ Johnson Central **4A State Semi Finals** 11/25
#61
Seems we had more fans out then Alex. I believe the faithful get to confident and only think about the next round. Me personally I like the large victories as the close games get my blood pressure to high. Come on boys so proud of where JC has came from. From the 1,2 win seasons from my Jr, senior years to this level is beyond belief.

I don't see this game being any different than the region championship against Ashland.

Friday can't come soon enough. I don't know much about Wayne County but I expect we will see some hard nosed football on Eagle field Friday night. Nothing like two blue collar teams battling it out in late November for a chance to play for the title. JC has had some great teams over the years but this is arguably one of the best. They are big, strong, and fast and they play with a lot of heart. Jim is a master at prepping his teams for battle so I expect the guys to come out focused and ready to take care of business. It may be a close game out of the gate but JC proves to be too much for Wayne County and wins 35-14.

I can't wait to see the atmosphere on Friday night. Does it get any better than playoff football in the mountains?

JC hasn't played anyone that can challenge them except for Belfry and everyone will see Belfry was overrated this year.

It's no big secret I'm not a fan of either team. But I just can't see Wayne County playing with JC. Jc will run and run all day on Wayne. No big surprise here JC will go back to Bowling Green

I was able to attend the Ashland and JC game. I saw the best JC team I have probably ever seen. They can run or pass with confidence this year. If a team loads the box and try to stop the Jackson kid, they will make them pay by going over the top. I would like to see if anyone in the state had a DB that can cover the Blanton kid. I heard Friday night he was going to Marshall for baseball. I am afraid some of these big schools are missing out on a GREAT football player. The Offensive and Defensive line is something to watch also.
Jackson and Blanton are two of the best athletes in the state. Too bad they did not live a little farther north on 23 HAHA.

No easy way to get from Wayne County to Johnsonville....

257 North Mayo Trail
Paintsville, KY 41240

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
This is the address to Johnson Central. I know the pic says 'South Mayo Trail' but trust me.... it's North Mayo Trail.

The Highlighted areas on this map are parking lots for the high school & middle school.

The Green outlined area is the parking area for the mayo plaza. The majority of chain restaurants in our town are in this plaza along with a Mexican restaurant and some retail stores.

Based on the crowds we've been having at home this season..... and this game on being Thanksgiving Friday, this crowd could set an attendance record for JC's field.

JC wins... But I'm here to tell you that you better not overlook the Cards. Good skill kids that could possibly leave you scratching your heads and saying, "what happened" while walkin back to get in your vehicle after the game. Scrappy Bunch that plays hard every play!

No way JC overlooks Wayne County. Way too much leadership in the JC locker room.
The coaching staff have been saying this all season..... "Stay Humble, Stay Hungry!!!"

Anybody can be beat on any given night, but it won't be from JC overlooking their semi-state game @ home.

When are you going to join myself, Mr. Slate, Big Johnson and Caribou Lou for our pregame meal. Or will the wife let you?

Can I go
#84
^Of course you can!!!
#85
If Johnson Central were as one dimensional as they were this time last year I might take Wayne for the upset, but they are not and the threat of their downfield passing game with Blanton and Frisby makes them a whole different monster for Wayne to stop.

This one will be tough though..Wayne is playing great football and Thompson can coach, think JC seals it late with some insurance

Thomcat, you better be worried about feeding Caribou Lou Friday!

Mr. Slate worked up a big appetite last Friday night with box only all night long.
