Huntington is a solid football team. Maybe comparable to JC. Just a couple steps behind. Hurricane is a mediocre team. I'm not sure how good Lafeyette is this year. But the SW comparison is not even close.

Huntington high is most likely the second best team in 3a in wv, however the best team which is Martinsburg is 45+ points better than huntington. Only team in wv that would have a chance of playing the Kentucky powers is Martinsburg. Mingo cenral is a little better than belfry but not quite as good as JC.

Hurricane is usually a top 16 team in 3a but not much more than that, the top teams are huntington, capital, spring valley, wheeling park, and martinsburg. But nobody in the state will come within 30 of martinsburg they are just on a different level

Lafayette was lucky not to get a running clock on them tonight... they aren't near the team they have been the past two years

Also what happened to Pikeville keeping it close last week and proving those "so called experts" wrong?

Need to re-calibrate those gauges.

The Elite teams in Kentucky are better then the elite teams of WV. But the difference isn't that big. Martinsburg, Huntington and Spring Valley All would be top 10 teams in Kentucky 6a. Huntington just beat 3a #1 Belfry (including badly after the 1st quarter). Hurricane is an average WV AAA team and they beat Kentucky 1a #1 Paintsville. We all remember what Cabell Midland did to Belfry a couple years ago, and they lost a close shootout against Cincinnati Anderson (A strong Ohio D2 team) last week.
Overall Kentucky football is better then WV football but it's not by much. As we've learned the Huntington and Charleston teams are real good.

The Lafayette of the past two years would beat anyone in WV, but this year's team is even a little down than what I thought they would be.

Mingo Central would not beat Belfry. There is a big difference between Martinsburg, Huntington and Spring Valley compared to Mingo Central.

I know there is vortex that sucks in anything on US 460, 23, and 119 within a 15 mile radius of Pikeville that can execute a proper deadlift.
