Mayfield>Alcoa. Alcoa seems to be a little down from the past two years' 3A state title teams and Corbin did beat them in Corbin. I like Mayfield's chances on a neutral field.

On a serious note, who will be the refs for this game? Just wondering if it will be TN or KY officials. Not one to try and blame refs or conspiracy theories, but I would think Alcoa would do everything in their power to send word to TN officials if used. Just based on the uproar over the Alcoa-Corbin game. May be a stretch, but if I'm Corbin it's definitely in the back of my mind.

Corbin has 2 weeks to prepare to our one and i imagine we could use a week to heal up right about now but u play whos in front od you no excuses.I look for Mayfield to come out firing on all cylinders plus seems like Kyle Hurt in the backfield along with kentry is a hard combo to stop.Power game old style Mayfield football.

I would love to see Kent Trey spend more time at RB. Kid is electric! Run him early and then finish them off with heavy doses of Hurt and Jackson.

Mayfield wins this game, these two teams have been winning forever and it should be a great game, but beating the Mayfield mystique is easier said than done. Same old Mayfield solid and great coaching.
