The next competitive game for Johnson Central will be played on Pond Creek in the last game of the regular season. The district games should give the Golden Eagles ample opportunities to build depth before the playoffs.

Well, I waited to respond til I confirmed...I know we had 2 or 3 hurt....but I found out for sure yesterday evening that in addition to that, 6 starters QUIT this week....and I'm talking QB, backup QB, receivers, DB, LB....I will likely start another thread about this quitting nonsense and the kids/parents lack of any kind of whatever it takes to deal with adversity...and how this applies to life....but I REALLY need to cool off a day before I get started because I was ON FIRE when I confirmed this UNEXCUSABLE news.....selfishness!!! Ok, I'll stop before I start....stay tuned.

Nothing specific going on...I understand the discouragement that comes with this type of season...but there's 55 other guys and 10 or 12 coaches that this selfish decision effects. I wish the best of luck to the 55 that are sticking it out. Coach Manning is too good a guy to have this done to him....very disappointing.
