So Boyle's history is firm foundation for your argument but Belfry's very recent history isn't? Come on man. You going to quote stats from Chuck Smith's teams back when they had the Tammes playing next? LOL

Also you keep hanging on this youth thing... you do realize that Belfry has won four of the past five Middle School State Championships? That 2020 Boyle class is going to be special, no denying that, but let's not forget about Belfry's 2020 class.

Boyle chose not to play for the State Title. Belfry went undefeated and won the hardware, beat the eventual big school champion Johnson Central two times in the process. I would say Belfry's youth is pretty darn good and growing up equally as fast.

Most of Boyle fastest and BEST football players are Sophomore, which is why you didn't see much last year.

This isn't me calling out Belfry. By God Belfry has earned the right to be confident. All I said was that if Boyle keeps getting better (like I knew they would) that 3A is going to have problems. This is 100% true. Coach Smith has been quoted as saying the 2020 class may be Boyle best EVER should make people take notice.

Keep this in mind....Boyle has had problems with QBs that can run/pass and/or teams that can spread the field with great QBs. Running games of any sort that can't throw the ball RARELY IF EVER are effective vs Boyle.

Belfry is not a passing team. Boyle will stack the box and play man in the secondary with speed to burn. IMO it's a bad matchup for them.

I have no doubt Boyle is improving and those young kids will be/are a factor right now. I can't see Boyle any worse than 4th at this point. But I have not seen Central. Central plays such a ridiculous early season schedule, year in and out, I have no idea how good they are in 3A. When I think speed, and offense, underrated physical defense, I think Central. I have no idea if Boyle is on that level. Belfry and Corbin are proven, against the likes of Central, the past 3 years. I've just got to wait and see how Boyle does there. They
impressed me by playing Danville so close.

I know your 2020 class is really good. Our Freshmen class is ok, 8th grade is loaded.

Belfry will be 2A in 2019...Boyle probably 4A so we better make a 2 year thing.

We will have to play Boyle middle in state this year. I do not look forward to that. We were 7 male kids too many to be put in the lower class. Freakin stinks.

BCMS is LOADED...they've outscored opponents 367-56 in 7 games. They are a pleasure to watch. They got a lot of options on offense, their D is stiff and the best middle school kicker in the nation.

I think we would have won it two years ago but this is our first time in the tourney. Glad to be in it. Should be fun!

Casey. We are fairly solid. Weak conference. We got Russell county first round, and then thrown right damn in there to the wolves (Boyle) 2nd round. I knew Boyle was special this year but had no idea we had to move up to this class. If we go to the class we are closer in numbers too (we were just 7 male kids over), we'd probably play someone like Campbellsville for the state title in that class. We already beat those guys fairly easy. But NOOOO, we get "big brother, Rebels"...We may not make it to that game though, anyway, our tailback will be out, on fall break/vacation on a cruise...First round we may take an L, without that kid.

Casey usually has a good youth/middle school team. BIG. It is a tough draw for you but you never know.

I noticed Lexington Catholic was on the same side but in lower half of the bracket Boyle beat Lexington Catholic 49-8 earlier this season.
