Henderson Co @ Central Hardin
#1
The Colonels go to Hardin County to attempt an upset over the Bruins.
Who wins?
#2
Hardin County by 12

Henderson beat Daviess. Central squeaked by north hardin. Daviess throttled north 33 to 7 Friday night. District 1 is much better. Central Hardin is going to get surprised.

#6
Central Hardin 35-14

Don't forget Central Hardin went to Louisville and blanked Ballard 21-0. I'm sure the rain affected Ballard's pass game but still a very impressive win. Henderson stands a punchers chance with the style this game should take on.

I agree District 1 has represented well considering their place on the 6A hierarchy and I hope you are correct on this game.

As for the Daviess / NH game, the score was very lopsided but the stats were near even. Turnovers and poor game plan doomed NH, the OC got away from the run game way too soon. NH had a 7-0 lead with the ball early on and Bankhead had only 2 or 3 touches in the first half. I understand he is playing WR but you got to find away to get that kid the ball if you are NH. Put him in the backfield, run some jet sweeps, etc....the way to beat the DC defense is running the ball.

It's hard to compare scores between McCracken, Henderson, Daviess, C. Hardin, N. Hardin and Meade with all the various play styles.

Totally agree. You can't really ever project outcomes with the common opponents metric. Didn't really know details of the Daviess v N. Hardin matchup? Shocked NH abandoned the run. Daviess could not stop MCHS last game and traditionally district 2 blocks better than us. Just proud of the strides everyone in district 1 have made.
