Not trying to be a butt but the predictions on this thread are almost useless. We will control this game from start to finish. Expect a running clock no later than early in the 3rd quarter. Like I stated earlier, put them away quick and stay away from any injuries or stupid actions that might put someone out for next weeks game. Like most of our fans I too want Belfry next week. Revenge would be so sweet but I’m telling you that Central will knock off Belfry. We will get some revenge though, we owe Central too. Just not as much as we owe Belfry.

Now 64sur don't go getting crazy I was skeptical of Powell winning last week and this week is the same a big challenge to overcome but Casey was a good defense I watched the Corbin Casey game and Corbin was struggling with them till the fourth quarter. but with that Powell will have to play a team like they have never seen before in the red hounds I mean their offense is stellar and the defense is as tight as fort Knox if Powell wants to travel to the Cam to play they will have to play a great game on the whole. I like both teams going into this one. be a great offensive game for sure Sizemore and brooks are both great players and will have to lead their teams in this one.

Only way you're going to be able to shoot off those fireworks big boy is if you shoot them off for the Redhounds. Redhounds MIGHT give up two touchdowns. If they are feeling extremely generous. Good luck recovering all those onside kicks this week too.

Alot of chest thumping going on by Corbin fans in this thread. Hope all that arrogance don't jinx you guys. Don't forget, there's still a game to be played in which none of you have control over. Like I always say, anything can happen on a Friday night on a football field in November. Good Luck to both teams. I'm hoping for a good injury free game to all the young men. Plenty of room on the home side. A lot of Casey fans sat over there on the lower end. No room for visitors, unless you stand.

I can't say this will be a good game. If Corbin shows up to play well, it's probably a 4 or 5 TD win. Casey county's linebackers, for the first time all year, did not show up. Some of it was injury, some of it was hero ball, not playing the defensive scheme that we had went over all week. Part of it was Powell county having a very legit running back and a good mix of play calling. But one thing about Corbin, with probably twice as many coaches on their entire coaching staff, and/or helpers, those guys don't really make mistakes and don't play undisciplined ball. What they have that Casey, or Powell, or most other true 3A teams don't have, is numbers, and quality depth where if the starter is screwing up, he has the threat of a guy almost as good coming in to take his place, and do the job right. That way after a series, or two, that starter gets the point he better do his assigned job, or he won't get back in there. And most of that stuff gets fixed by game 4 or 5 of regular season. By then that starter almost never misses an assignment, never goes 'rouge', cause he knows there is at least 2 guys willing, and ready to take his spot. Casey and Powell don't have that quality depth, that motivational threat...
