I honestly didn't think this team knew the meaning of quit. We had them down 17-0 last year and we all know how that turned out. I said earlier before the game that drive would hurt them a little bit, but they'd still win. I didn't think it would hurt them like this. Guess it goes to show ya anything can happen on Fridays. Win or lose this is what makes HS football so exciting

I'm gonna have to steal one from FatPat and say Wooowwwzaaa. This game has me rethinking the whole season for 3A. Unless it was just one of those "ya know?" games, kinda like we had vs Beechwood. I'd like to see the whole game film on this one though.

Don’t think so. Central couldn’t have played better. Belfry looked banged up. Not having Wellman there when the RB cut it up was huge and it showed.

I think everyone thought the same thing, not just them. Central must have thought different though... But with that said, they still don't have our defense or defensive depth. But that's for debate in another thread. Congrats to Central and to the Belfry. All good things have to come to an end sometime. I just wish it would have been a mountain team that ended it. Heck of a run though. Not to many people can say they've had a ride like your guys. Safe travels back home. We will always welcome anyone on our hunt for 6.

Interesting to see the adjustments Haywood will make at the half. He's the master at that.

I will say, I'm no Haywood (duh), but giving the ball to #28 every singe time, in the 3rd quarter especially, seemed like a smart plan.
