No chance in hell anyone had 3 of those 4 teams in the semis in the preseason lol. I can't believe I'm saying it, but I really like Raceland in the East. I've been hard on them all year, but they are playing absolutely lights out defense the last 2 weeks. It ain't goina be easy, Pikeville is athletic and has some depth. But I feel like the RAMS have a CHAMPIONSHIP caliber defense, a very solid special teams, and the offense is finding it's footing.

Beechwood is a big favorite. Can Raceland make it to the finals? Have been close a bunch but no cigar. I thought Pikeville was a year away. They may prove me wrong. They will be scary good next year.

Beechwood and Raceland will advance to Kroger Field.

Speaking of Special Teams, was someone hurt last time we played? Rams Special teams struggled tremendously in the Drstrict Title game and yet they were very good last night!

Pikeville breezes through this one on a Gravy Train to Kroger!!!
If anyone knows me you know why I'm predicting Pikeville in this one!

A few changes were made since the first Paintsville game. Some of the better athletes were put back on special teams and a few that were on it previously were "fired" lol.

Something thatâs not talked about on here at all is how far Racelabds program has come in the last Five years they have played in the region championship every year winning 3 of them, this year they take the next step and with the talent they have coming back next year they will be here again ..

I agree. We should arguably be better next year. The soph and jr classes are loaded with alot of suprising tallent, size, speed and strength. I never dreamed that the soph class would become what it has, with its development in speed.

Rams has been very good for several years but seem to run into a hot team. Pikeville is playing extremely well. Like both teams and their fan bases. This game is a toss up. Pikeville is playing extremely sharp right now. They are peaking and playing with a lot of confidence and swagger.

I'll take the RAMS at home.

Hereâs is something else Iâve noticed and kind of slapped me after I think about it.
2015 Pikeville made a Quarterback change about the same time and it paid off big time for them. Im getting that deja vu feeling. Iâm not saying the same results will happen but it possible.. The difference in that 2015 and this team is they had a big work horse in the backfield. The Roberts kid is a solid back tough and runs hard but not no where near a Daric Pugh type kid. But they do have as many weapons in the passing game. The defense isnât no where near either but theyâve bent but not broke.
But if Pikeville is to win this game against Raceland they will need to stop the Rams a lot better than they did Hazard. You donât see many games where a team controls the trenches and loses

I didnât know you where such a Pikeville hater Blue-Bird, but I see why you made your prediction. Also I understand being for a team in your district but I hope your right on your prediction which you made in sarcasm. Good luck to you in anything you do and have enjoyed your posts.

Looking forward to my first visit ever to Racelands field. Can’t believe they’re the only one I’ve not been to over on this side of the state except Greenup.
