Lynn Camp 2018
#1
Whats everyone's thought on this program this year?
#2
I had a cousin that played for them back in the 90's when they went to the region championship, so that's as far back as I can really remember. But it seems that no matter who many players or how talented they are, they just cant get up that next step. Hope they do though, love seeing surrounding teams do well. Except for a few... and most of them have a County at the end of their name. But L.C., never really had an issue with them. Hope they do finally make it to the next level. Good luck

I have issues with teams that don't have county at the end, and some that do Smile
#5
Coach Harris has them headed in the right direction...

Doug I don't believe that for a second, UNLESS you're talking about W-burg?
#7
Campers have got progressively better over last couple of years. Coach Harris has brought them back from the abyss.

And other schools in Whitley and Knox counties.

Lynn camp won region in 03 or 04. Lost to beechwood in the state semis I think.

Yeah, 2003, beat Hazard and Pikeville to win the region. Lynn Camp had several read good teams under Mitchell.

yeah that's kind of what I was getting at. One region championship in the past 2 decades.... That's what I meant by them having trouble getting to the next level and being there consistently. I've seen a couple of very good athletes comes through there in years past. Hopefully- like I said- they'll be able to get to that next level and stay there. I never followed them closely, but did watch to see what was happening with them being right next door. Good luck to them

Well, one in 60 years I think.

Whoaaa! Hold up. Our recruiting budget isn't that big. Especially with all our funds allocated to the Whitley county area right now. haha. Word through the grape vine right now though is we might be adding two more players that are a little bit further west than we usually pull from haha. I guess we've sucked the whitley county well dry.:devilflam

Your grape vine is spot on. Two BIG additions to the offense, tomorrow morning I am going to work on the third piece of the puzzle. It is also farther west and is family of mine, 3yr starter on o line and currently holds the bench press record at his current school. 6-5 270 and has played in a couple 5a state championships. Good day to be a hound

Campers with 18 seniors. Should be a special year. Still recovering from the dark ages in between Mitchell and Harris.
#29
Heard yesterday campers may have found two new linemen from Whitley. One is confirmed and starts practice today he will be a big addition, still no news of who the other is.
#30
Still struggle with kids moving after season begins and getting eligible
