If pineville beat this bunch as bad as they did you're smoking more than dope if you think itll be this close even if Whitley is as dysfunctional as they are.

Whitley 65

Leslie has some players that won’t be there next season just think there getting tired of losing that team will go downhill after this year

Last 4 years Leslie has gone 8-3, 9-3, 10-2 and 4-7. So, I really don’t understand the tired of losing thing. Maybe they should step up instead of quit.

they lose in the first or second round every year
#17
Whitley should take this one big looking at the roster most of their defense returns should have a very solid defense Whitley county is no pineville

Whitley wins but not in a blowout. Qb situation is crazy, new offense is crazy, and loosing a couple players to Lynn camp this week doesn’t help either. Whitley 28-7 see dougie I pull for you all except for one week, but they better clean it up for rock and bell or else could be a bad start to a long season. Didn’t you all have a good 8th qb last year, might as well let him get his feet wet and have 4 yrs experience. IMO that builds a program in a off year not bouncing two that won’t benefit the program after this year. He had good arm strength and a trained zebra can hand off left, hand off right.

Who could they have possibly lost to Lynn camp?

Boswell and another kid. Talked to a someone within the program and one enrolled for sure and the other is trying to get everything in order

8-3, 9-3, 10-2 and 4-7 in the last four years including a District a few years ago. They also beat Whitley pretty bad the year they won their 5A district in 2016. But it’s a different year than that now. Leslie County has a lot of young talent on the team that I hope can develop as the season progresses.

Lot's of people lose in the 2nd round if they have to play Danville, LCA or Somerset. Leslie is young and beat up. They will be fine. Whitley too much. Whitley wins 35-14

I was totally surprised last week, hats off to Pineville. We are young and as some have stated we have people hurt on both sides of the ball. Maybe we can grow up some and improve as the year goes on. Long year in BB we need to be successful in football. Whitley will be too much for us. Go Eagles !

I will never understand a move to Lynn camp. No matter the circumstance.

Just asking but since he played a game for Whitley then that makes him ineligible for Lynn Camp his senior year, correct? If not so kids can jump from school to school depending on season? Heard someone say that he wouldn't/couldn't play at Lynn Camp.

Certain things could get him eligible. He could only miss the by week at the camp.

Boswell played middle school and 3 years of high school football at Corbin. It was disappointing to hear he chose to play his senior year somewhere else. If he becomes eligible at Lynn Camp he is a huge addition.
