Beechwood is a power in 1A but they take on the jaw 2 weeks in a row. Got to give it to them they play a good schedule before district games. That will make the better and hard for any 1A team to touch them. Covington 35 to 14 Beechwood

Hats off to Beechwood, the toughest schedule in the state for many classes considering they are a single A school. Not only scheduling these schools but competing and winning.

My great friend Coach Eviston will have Covcath ready to put up another running clock friday. Love the beechies and the players and staff, but Covcath is on another level. I think it could be another running clock to make it 18 in row. Might be 17 though.

I believe Cov.Cath wins this one. But I wont make the same mistake I did last week thinking Beechwood couldn't hang. I dont think they can win, but this scrappy bunch isn't going to lay down for nobody either, no matter who you are. Cov.Cath is just to good though.

Covcath has there entire offensive line back from last yr. There rb is about to break covcath's rushing record. And Michael Mayer is the real deal at TE and MLB. I just don't seeing Beechwood having enough depth to compete for 4 quarters. Coach Eviston isn't going to allow a breakdown this week.

I don’t know if Cov cath qualifies as “clearly the best”....but they are certainly in the conversation. The dynamic coaching staff and the loaded roster are impressive to say the least.

This is a great game for Beechwood! It’s a chance to run against someone much bigger faster and better in the middle of the season.They will hit the reset button and get better from here !! Wish my Rams would throw a game like this on the schedule

Beechwood is good enough to keep this from being a running clock. I don't know if they will because kids are kids but they can.

Cov cath obviously let the running clock streak elapse. They had it but a botched snap with the secondary players on the beechwood 5 yard line cancelled that idea. Kinda disappointing but they won against a very good beechwood team. Lets see how the rest of the schedule shakes out.
