Survive and advance name of the game this time of year. Breathitt D was strong all game long but struggled to score points tonight. I think we scored 2-4 times but called back for holding. Got to get better this week and be ready to score next week to advance against bell and Dudley

Knew it would be a closer game. MCreary has potential to be a really good team just watching them play. Breathitt isn’t really what you call back yet either. They have a dandy young crop of boys with lots of potential. As bad as I’d love to see them whoop Bell next week. Just don’t think they can stop the fullback or QB. Defense isn’t their strong suit.

I thought the d played great tonight kept them in the game when the offense couldn’t seem to find paydirt. I bet McCreary had under 150 total yards

Dudley this Dudley that. The little 5'0 man isn't running the football against Breathitt. Hes on the sidelines. Those teams in UPIKES conference wasnt to worried about him were they when the playing field was a little more even. Hes a good coach but lets not get carried away. He had to go have someone buy him a QB. Yeah Bell is better than Breathitt but hopefully Breathitt can keep it close.

Dudley has wanted some of Holcomb for a long time. If you don’t believe that ask him and Bobcat fans.
I watch Bell last night against Estill and the second half he put the Chile hold on Estill late in the game.
He will try to do the same against Breathitt and will not call the Bobcats off..
This is one reason that we will not continue to play them. Our program is down down down and plays started til 2:00 left in game. Yes, it’s not his fault that we can’t compete with Bell, but don’t run the score up on teams..

Congrats to Breathitt. Congratulations to McCreary Central who played Breathitt to a 7-6 game, when everyone on this sight thought it would be a Breathitt blow out. Hats off to McCreary who had a 3 hr bus ride turn into a 4 1/2 hr bus ride because the Charter Bus broke down. Way to play hard.

good post sportsfanatic, hats off to Mccreary central. no one including myself thought it would be that close. The bobcats are lucky to be playing next week. It took a trick play to get in the endzone against them, next week the offense has to be better.

Yes I was really shocked by this score but hey, that's alright. Sounds like it was a great defensive battle and both teams can leave, one obviously hurting, but also feeling as if they at least belonged on the field. IMO, that's not the worst way to go out.
