A win is a win, but embarrassing to give up that many points for both teams. In any outing. My flyers scored 60 and lost one and beat a few teams 60+ to 50+ also embarrassing.

LC simply couldn't tackle Wandale... They were in position all night, but couldn't bring him down. His speed did create a few plays that he scored untouched because no one could get a hand on him. It's crazy that one man could make that much of a difference, but he definitely did. LC on defense isn't near as bad as this makes them look. Wandale put on a show because of how fast, elusive, and tough he is.

Here's the deal.
Hills plays hard. They have low numbers but WanDale makes up for that with his athletic ability. He's a freak!
Moving forward for Lawrence Co you have the complete opposite waiting for them at Boyle Co. A swarming defense that plays the run well. And a balanced offense with speed across the board.
Get some rest and drive safe.
See ya Friday!

What a crazy game that must have been to watch! Can't wait to see Robinson in the Blue and White, any chance the NCAA might let us use him against Georgia today? LOL I forgot we're not Duke, thank God. :Cheerlead

The officials had no bone in th fight one way or the other. Considering I know one of them and the crew was from the 13th region around 3 hours away.

I thought the officiating was fine. There were a few things that went uncalled on both sides, but the officials did not decide the game, which is the way I like it. As for the high score, I think it was the perfect storm for the offenses to perform. Our defense was too slow to handle the speed of Western Hills, and their defense was too small to handle the size and strength of our offense.
I expect next week to be similar, but about half the scores this one had. Looking forward to seeing our boys take on the challenge ahead! I hope I can get off work and make the drive.

Thatâs a pretty bold statement. You could be right though. Western played Boyle pretty tough. You wonât have them beat in talent, so youâll have to beat their intensity and heart. On top of a good game plan.

I know all about wandale! Fchs has had his number! Lawrence did not!

Congratulations Lawrence County. Iâm happy that we will not have to deal with Wandale. I think Lawrence Countyâs running game is just what our defense needs to see in the second round of the playoffs. Have a safe drive up.

Congrats LC and really both teams what a game

You guys worried to much about score. Meanwhile The atmosphere, the human highlight that Robinson was. The way west ran was like a tank. Both teams trading blows. It was beyond worth every penny to watch. Anyone who missed this game just doesn't understand lol.

Completely agree. Such an exciting game and well worth the price of admission. Anyone that didn't come missed a show!

Lawrence better bring a defense next week, because I don’t see them scoring anymore than 14-17 points on Boyle, but I expect Boyle to score their season average or more.

Celebrate big win last night. Plenty of time to worry about Boyle

How good could West be if he wasnât being wasted playing QB.

Boyle could not either, you guys got ran all over by Hills this year. I watched that game and thought, goodness what happened to Boyle County! Also as good as Boyle is no one is as fast as Wandale, now are they a fast team yes! have some fast guys ? yes? Any that fast..... no..
11-06-2018, 01:01 AM
It doesn’t matter to me who it is if you have a score like this in a football game there were absolutely no defense played in this game Boyle has a defense so this week it will be like 70 to 12 this game didn’t help LC get ready for Boyle although I would like to see LC go there and give them all they want

According to KHSAA stats for the Western hills game verses Boyle County, Boyle allowed 159 yds rushing for Western Hills as a team. Wandale may have had more yds than that, but with the negative rushing yds Hills had deducted as a team they only had 159 yds rushing for the game.
On a side note I don’t know why you keep taking shots at Boyle, wait a minute maybe I do are you still mad ‘cause Boyle beat your team 50-7 I almost forgot I saw Landon Bartleson run Wandale down from behind I believe it was in the first Quarter before Landon left the game with an injury and didn’t return, I might also add that Landon is I believe a 100 meter track state champion and record holder in his class.
