HHS should win this game. But if they don’t. Let’s not hear they had 2 weeks to get healthy and prepare for the game.

Still think Anderson wins by 2tds. They are bigger and more aggressive. Could go either way though. I just see the following factors being big: 1) Bye for AC, 2) AC home game 3) Sam Harp. I have seen most people on other threads believe HH wins and maybe they do. AI would rank these 2 teams in the top 5. Both are better than South Oldham.

I don’t see Highlands trying to shorten the game by taking their time on offense. Like they did against Cov Cath. But I could be wrong. I know Anderson is huge on offense. Don’t know about their defense

Highlands by 21

I think Anderson has a good chance of winning this game with it being a home game and two weeks to get ready for Highlands.
11-03-2018, 07:27 PM
Have they gone agianst a good passing team all year? If not, you canât prepare in two weeks of practice for it.

Anderson may well win this, but, I still have questions about them, as there schedule has been pretty weak while Highlands has played better competition and challenged themselves more. The Birds will definitely be the best team they've played.

Highlands is a GOOD passing team. Not great. Could I prepare for GOOD in two week. Maybe enough to take that bubble pass and out patterns away. Dare them to go deep. With a disguised defense. If my DL and LB solid. I’m not worried about their running game

Highlands has to play inspired. they played totally uninspired last night. You canât let a team like Andersen hang around, they need to come out and play like they did in Cov Cath game. If they do that I think that they win fairly easily

So don’t snap the ball until 2 or 3 seconds left on the play clock?

Talking about their enthusiasm not play calling. No emotion last night

Andersen County by 10

Anderson by a score or two. Collins boy is good.

How is the field looking in Anderson? With more rain coming it could be a muddy track Friday night.

I canât see highlands losing. It could get ugly in favor of the birds.

Would love to pick Anderson but until they give me a reason by beating someone GOOD, I'm not on board totally. If Zack Labhart was playing I might feel different.
Boyle Co has both these schools on the schedule next year (from what I'm hearing about HHS, Anderson is a District foe) and so I'm interested in this outcome.
I'll say:
Birds - 33
Bearcats - 21

Thatâs why I have been watching Anderson all year too. District foe next year. If Labhardt is playing I take Anderson by 21+. Honest. If itâs wet, Anderson by 1 or 2 still. I still havenât found anyone that has seen both teams live. I have. Donât understand how you can say this wonât be a great close game if you have and really not sure who will win. Highlands is a much better passing team on offense and has a better secondary. Anderson has a much better running game and has one of the best DLs and OLs I have seen all year. D1 MLB and DE. Collins is a game changer. Of course if Highlands QB is on he is hard to beat. No one knows how this game will go. I have seen both live and it will be a brutal game. HH is fast and skilled. Anderson is big and mean. We shall see.

I was told the field is a mud pit. Rain Friday will just make it worse. Who does this favor?

Anderson Co I would think.

Anderson beat Montgomery 42-34. Montgomery needed the last second score to be the one win Dixie, The same team Highlands beat 49 to 6 in a game where I donât even feel like they played a good game. And Montgomery is probably the best team on Andersonâs schedule, this does not bode well for Anderson beating Highlands. Also does not bode well for Montgomery against Cov Cath Who beat Dixie 50 to 8

Bad way to compare teams. Meade County lost to Simon Kenton by 1 point and should have won. Anderson dominated Meade. Simon Kenton is Highlands best win. Matchups mean everything. Scores against like teams mean nothing.

Anderson beat Mead by 15, I wouldnât call that domination.
I think looking at teams on Anderson schedule and comparing them to teams in North Kentucky can give you a better picture, maybe not a great picture but it can give you an idea of how the two teams compare. And this past week those teams did not do very well against Northern Kentucky teams ( GRC, MONTGOMERY, Woodford, Madison,)

Iâve thought this whole year HHS has been slightly overrated. But I donât know much about Anderson other than what Iâve read on here. Size, strength, etc.
The game I watched between highlands and lex cath I wasnât overly impressed. They are a good team. But I donât tbink they are this great team some think. I will say on other film Iâve watched on hudl and that i couldnât really see in the Lex Cath game is their WRs run very good routes and get pretty good separation. Canât wait to see the outcome of this one either way. Pulling for AC

Size, strength, etc.I donât know anyone who said they are a great team, good team yes. Fairly solid on defense, not great on offense. QB is on and off game to game. Running game struggles at times. Seem to do better when smaller faster rbâs are in but he likes to use Schwalbach who does not impress a lot of the fans. Offense is definitely better now then earlier in the year. Really think they will need to use fast backs to go around AC instead of #5 going up the middle. If QB is on, should be able to pass against AC. I also see Highlands having good night with special teams.
