Hahah. Considering their QB played at Knoxville last year shows your knowledge about anything regarding football teams. They might not subtract but they know the difference between Your and Youâre haha. If I were you Iâd take the bet. And just so itâs honorable you should even up the the wager with him.

Your nonsense is causing me to run circles tonight.
1 I like Campbell Field better more tradition and I donât like turf.
2 not more parking, unless you want to play frogger on 25
3 you should be use to the smell, I have a feeling you live under a bridge
4 your probably the only person who canât subtract 1982 from 2018. I will save you the trouble itâs 36 so tell your imaginary friend to put his shoes back on.
5 Corbin has 3 state championships in khsaa era 1976-1980-1982. Bell has 2 1991-2008 I believe, someone correct me if I am wrong.
6 If bell wanted the game at home they should have won against the only quality team they played.

You mean you already havenât? Iâm still soggy from the last month. My butt finally regained feeling. Those concrete bleachers are unforgiving. I wish to God theyâd renovate, I know they have the money and means to do so. But a lot of the âold dawgsâ get their feelings hurt about it

Paint chip, thatâs a good nickname. Thank god they started making lead free, canât handle to many. But guess what??? It could come a typhoon and the outcome will be the same. Thatâs the great thing about having a run game and a pass game.

Hound05 Wrote:Like I said on the other one, Powell has won 17 out of the last 20. They’re a good team but I think their record is misleading. Hounds shouldn’t have any problem moving the ball in the air or on the ground. And our defense, well they’re are averaging right under 11 points allowed per game. Take away the MF game and it’s a little less than 7. So I don’t see them outside of a crazy game putting up more than 7 on our varsity. Several players that weren’t 100% before should be getting close to being back. All in all shaping up to be in good playoff form. I’d like to see us more than anything in this game: A) execute! Win our one on one battles at EVERY spot. No missed assignments, WRs running crisp routes etc. B) limit penalties. We done a great job last week. I think we only had four with the varsity. C) Get In, get out! Take care of business early and often. Put the game away before the half and get ready for a physical game next week! No offense to P.C., they’ve had a great season, but they just aren’t on the level Corbin is playing at, so sometimes in games like these you’re really playing yourself to get better. Good luck.Powel field was a swamp last week. I've got a video of their guys with like a little 5 gallon bucket of dirt trying to spread it across a 25 yard by 25 yard spot...lmbo. Worst field we'd played on in the past 4 years that I remember.
Oh yea!! I’d like to see a dry freaking field for once. Done with this rain☔️!! Doubt it’ll happen and the field still looks great compared to most others. But still, we haven’t had to many dry games I can think of.

My final thoughts on the score, and no offense to any team, including my own team, but I fear the running clock will be in effect. Corbin can pass, Powell can shock you on rare occasion with a good pass, but since Corbin's secondary is maybe best, or 2nd best in the 3A class, that isn't happening. All Corbin has to do is play run support, and they are great at that also, with big atheltic D lineman, and good linebacker play. Skidmore will be a work horse and will do his best. It won't be for lack of trying. Powell's line is really big, but not nearly of the athletic ability of Corbin's. They'll also fight, and put up what they can. Corbin just too athletic, and will sub out to keep their D line fresh, while rarely playing both ways.
Corbin-56
Powell-14 (those 14 will come on the Corbin JV when they put them in)

I could see this game being kinda close for the first little bit if Powell tries to keep our O off the field. But theyâll have to convert 3rd downs consistently. I donât know if they can do that. But after the 1st it should be out of reach maybe half time. Like smoke said, theyâll wear down. And we have a unique team to do that with. Power the run down your throat then play the pass if they want. But haddix likes to keep then guessing and it works. Most teams are wore down by halftime if itâs still a game. A good rotation of WRs helps with that too. Although we are down a CB right now and some WRs are filling in the rotation, they should still be very fresh. I canât wait to watch skidmore though. Everyone says heâs very good and the tape shows that too. Itâs just hard for me at least to get a real accurate judgment because of their regular season schedule. Casey held them to 14, but Casey also has a good defense. Or they did against us, I havenât seen another game of theirs. I do think our D is better though, no offense to Casey. So I donât see them putting up more than 14 the whole game. I havenât predicted a score yet so Iâll say 48-14 with the 14 probably coming on the JV. Our D has been playing lights out, and we have our MLB back.

Corbin's numbers allow them to send waves of players at you. They have way to much overall team speed for Powell to match up.

Your right, corbin has too many players. reminds me of the Marines Recruiting office when they give you a bonus for coming.

I think Corbins front 7 are too much for Powell. Powell hasnât thrown the ball near as much this year and if they donât try to air it out (successfully) Itâll be a long rainy night and a long bus ride home.
If Corbin gets Goose back on the field tonight I look for some deep balls coming his way.
