The Franklin-Simpson Wildcats come into this game with a 12-1 record. They're only loss was to 5A South Warren 14-36.

The Taylor County Cardinals come into this one with an identical record of 12-1. They're only loss was to 1A State Semi Finalist Campbellsville 20-40, they also hold a win over 3A State Semi Finalist LaRue County 39-0.

Franklin Simpson wins by at least 3 TDâs. Taylor just played their toughest 4a opponent all season and it was a tough win. Taylor Co has had a great season but I believe it ends Friday.

It wouldn't be the 4A State Championship Game without Franklin-Simpson and Johnson Central. It will be no different this year!

Taylor County is quite ready to hang with the heavyweights of 4A.

Franklin Simpson is favored heavily but who the heck thought Taylor County would ever be mentioned this quickly in the state semi! Heck of a job Foley has done! Congrats Taylor county. Win or lose your program is going in the right direction. Good luck to both teams Friday night.

Franklin Simpson may well win. The field in Taylor will be a factor as well as weather. Taylor has played in the rain and bad field conditions all season. Although the school has done a good job trying to maintain the playing surface but its is too far gone now. This should be a great game. Mckinney is the x factor in this one. Taylor threw 2 int and fumbled 1 inside the 15 yrd line going in as well as dropped a wide open pass down the sidline that should have been 6. TC is a really good team. Franklin Simpson is the next door to knock down for a program on the rise. Good luck to all
