electric guitar and drums are pretty much tied for me but....I cant play either

My favorite instrument is a Takamine 12-string Acoustic guitar. There is no better sound IMO....

i've played guitar a little over 13 years and so far i don't liek anything better that a les paul/marshall combo, or a taylor with a fender acoustic amp..
i also like piano.

Mine would have to be drums also. My husbund has played drums for about 30 years. He has toured all over the midwest,not to mention just about every place in Eastern Ky. Hes even played the Grand Ole Opry.

Electric guitar is pretty sweet but I have to say that I like playing the drums ALOT better than the guitar.

Mandolin is actually a little easier to learn than the guitar....but the guitar wasnt easy for me......lol

I've had one in my hands before and strummed around on it. I can't read chord music though OR tabs. But now that I am thinking about it you don't have to do nearly as much chord changes and stuff with a mandolin so I could see your point BT.
