IMO everything sports related that goes on in Scott Co is a fiasco and a sham.

I have heard stories for years including from a school board member about 4/5 years ago.

I just think it's a damn shame that Scott Co took so long to open a second HS. There should have been another one at least 7/8 years ago. How many kids were not able to play sports simply because of numbers and this bad decision by adults?

Chappell resigned because he was upset over having to teach a full class schedule at Great Crossing. He told the school that he agreed to a partial schedule for teaching, but my understanding is that his employment contract made no mention of teaching part-time. The school needed him to teach a full schedule, and he left instead of doing that. Paul Rains took over the program, as we know.
