Cherokee, you can bet no one on Pikeville’s team or coaching staff or fans for that matter is over looking Paintsville. Unlike Beechwood, Pikeville plays them every year and they know what kind of battle this is going to be. Pretty sure Beechwood didn’t over look them either just that Paintsville won the game. Going to be interesting to see what happens tonight. A lot of things I am going to be paying close attention to see what battles are won by which team. But as always GO PANTHERS!!!

Pikeville at Paintsvile games are usually pretty close. I’m not seeing either team running away with this game. It’s still early in the season and we can see how the best class A teams in the mountains match up now. How they play in the playoffs is when it will matter most. This is just a stepping stone to get better and ready for playoffs. My prediction is the team that plays the cleanest without turnovers and penalties will win
