UK just announced Terry Wilsonâs injury in Saturday nightâs game was a torn patella tendon. He will miss remainder of the season.:HitWall:

Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
As much as I harp on Teddy for his missed throws he was our guy and I was with him. Hate seeing a young man go down! Hopefully a full and healthy recovery!

You and me both. Two bright spots from a sad situationâ1.) Since it happened this early in the year, I would think he could use this as a redshirt season and still have two years of eligibility left. 2.) Sawyer Smith has D1 experience and a strong arm, it may not be a washout having to go to him. To me, he looked much more assured Saturday night than I ever saw Gunnar Hoak look. So we arenât dead yet.

Yeah Iâm definitely not writing the season off just because Sawyer Smith is now our QB. He is more than likely going to struggle in his first full game against Florida but he looks capable enough to compete against teams like Vandy, South Carolina, Tennessee, Mizzou, etc.
Iâm disappointed for Terry though I think he was starting to take that next step into being the playmaker and leader we needed. Hoping he has a full recovery as that can be a tough injury for a running QB to come back from.

His first redshirt season wasn't because of a medical issue. For a 6th year of eligibility both of the redshirts have to be medical most of the time. Stoops announced he wont seek a 6th year.

Well crap. Could create an interesting situation next year if Smith performs well this year and they are both back.
