Tigers dominate. 6 different players score, 3 in air, 3 on ground. Bardstownâs smaller, athletic lineman whip Larueâs bigger D1 players. Running clock and JV in midway through 3rd.

Interesting to see how Pikevilles front loaded schedule RPI looks now. Theyâve played some darn good teams. Bardstown has the players to make some noise. Congratulations to Bardstown!

Bardstown, some of these kids I remember in middle school. I fully expected if they worked and kept playing they'd be a team to contend with. Larue has almost no speed, but they are huge and this is a big statement win by Bards.

Yes, I think that scheduling move has ended up benefitting both teams.

Bardstown is a possible future matchup for us. Not pleased with that score though...I figured Larue would give them at least a game.

I told people when Bardstown played us, (Pikeville) they would make a deep run in the playoffs. And I still think they will. Would love to see them at Kroger.

No, and itâs criminal that he is not. We are working on it.

That really is. When I watched him play Pikeville the kid was the best athlete on the field in my opinion that particular day.

This shows how weak the LaRue County team is.

While that may be true, eye test is what they pass. Not too worried about your thoughts. No offense. Lol

Bardstown is decent and Larue is awful. You guys pump them up only because Pikeville played them. lol

Little more than âdecentâ. Am I saying theyâre gonna run through 3A like a dose of salts? No. Are they capable, with their speed and athletes of making a very serious run in the playoffs? Yes. I honestly, at this point in the season, would put them in 3A top 5 or 6 overall. Regardless of the RPI, just on eyeball test from film I HAVE seen, or actual games I have seen. Healthy Belfry I believe returns to the top of 3A. Any injuries, and they will struggle because unlike their past 7-8 years, thereâs a noticeable drop off in talent/experience. As for Pikeville, I think theyâre #1 in 1A because of the big game experience of their senior class (played in championship game last year), ability to find a way to close out close games, and a fairly equal 1 and 2 roster (with some exceptions of course) on both sides of the ball. So Pikeville doesnât have to pump anyone up. They play a tough schedule every year.

I agree with you on Pikeville, but this post is about you pumping Bardstown up. They haven't played anybody to know if they are more than decent, and if Pikeville hadn't played them you wouldn't even be talking about them.
