If we play like we did on Thursday, you could very well triple that.
With this being our last home game of the year, I really hope our team plays with heart and passion again. It looks like we let a few mistakes in the Valley game absolutely crush our will, but we've got to move past that.
I've heard some great things about your backfield, so that definitely concerns me.
Good luck to both teams and lets hope for a good game to watch.

If the comets play like they did last week then theyâll be lucky to win by 20. The defense played lights out but the offense wasnât able to finish drives and there were a couple missed opportunities on special teams to score points. Hopefully this performance was because of a hangover from the big Shelby Valley win the week before.
I also hope for a good injury free game Friday night.

Just how big are 71 and 62? They look like they'll cause us a bunch of problems with 1 & 2 ready to clean up anything past them.
We are going to have to pass if we have a chance of making it a game!

62 is a skinny and fast defensive end. The comets, unless Iâm mistaken, have recorded an interception in every game I have watched this season but I have missed 2 games...

That's why I was asking. He looks skinny, but he's very talented. I'm trying to figure out their measurements compared to us. We have an undersized OL, except for our LT. He's tall, but a little slender.

I donât know 62 personally but he looks to be in the ball park of 6â0 160-165. 71 looks about the same height but Iâd put him at 50-60 pounds heavier. The comets are also usually undersized up front but are skilled and quick.

It appears both teams are about the same size. We looked like boys amongst men against Shelby Valley's massive OL.
I worry about it becoming a track meet.

Shelby Valley has to be the biggest team in the district...

Itâs going to be a bad night for the Blackcats...

They've got to be. I've not seen Martin County yet, but I can't imagine they're bigger than Valley.

Maybe so, but I can promise they won't come out flat like they did on Thursday again. They will play with heart and passion on Senior Night!

I'll take the Comets, 20-10. Blackcats are struggling.

If Cline is out, itâll be closer. But Orry Perry has been able to manage the game well at QB and plymakers have emerged for the Comets.
Heâs thrown for over 700 yards this year, which considering the first two games he threw for 50 yards each means he has been good lately.
If he continues to get the ball to his playmakers, Comets roll to a district championship.

The OL/DL would be a lot bigger, but it's also the skill guys. It would allow some of these PBurg boys to play in their natural positions and we would have a 2deep. I know of at least 16 kids at neighboring schools who grew up in the youth system at PBurg.
You can look and see some real stars shining bright this season at other schools.
I'm glad they're doing well as all seem to be good young men, but I really wish we had them home.
