Shaq
#1
My dad and I were talking about this: If Shaq developed the minimum jump shot, just in the lane jump shot, and/or learned how to shoot free throws, and/or just got a lil quicker,/more mobile he'd be the most dominant player EVER,

Am I wrong???

I agree, just if he made his freethrows it would boost his numbers.

I think when he is Healthy he is the best player in the NBA and is unstoppable !

I think if you find someone big enough to match up with him (I know that alone is hard), he doesn't have the moves, jumper, or coordination to do anything.

Saying he has no coordination is foolish. Shaq has some of the quickest feet for a big man Ive ever seen. Notice how in Game 4, he made a spin move around Ben Wallace for the jam. He isnt as mobile as he used to be but he was and still is one of the most coordinated big men to play the game.

Quick feet and stuff, to me, is not coordination, coordination is like the ability to handle the ball, put the ball where you want, dribble good, and have a smooth shot, Shaq has none of those in my opinion

Well IMO IF Shaq wants to score he can, if the Heat needs points all the have to do it give the ball to Shaq, I think hes still unstoppable, when he wants to be.....thats my opinion whats everyone else think?

I think if he finds someone who will body up with him and not let him manhandle them, there's not much he can do. I think Ben Wallace can do that.

Did anyone see tonight where Shaq got the ball under the rim, went up for a dunk, and Wallace pounded the ball back in his face and got a jump ball?? That got me pumped

Thats foolish. Ben Wallace does not have the ability to body up Shaq. ONe block does not define at entire series. Shaq average against the Pistons this year is over 7 points higher than his average overall against all other teams. Pistons have NO ONE who can properly guard Shaq...few do. The Spurs, Clippers, and well that may be it that have big enough guys to guard Shaq. Just to let you know, Shaq can handle the ball decently well enough to coast to coast a few times in his career...haha...He is also is the best passing big man in league. Shaq, though past him prime, is the most dominant big man in the game. Tim Duncan being a closing in second.

The only player who can guard shaq is Yao !

He's already the most dominant player ever. There's never been any answer for him, except Shaq, himself.....

Totally agree. I mean he is dominant enough as it is, but if he could make his FT's and knock down a lil jump shot there would be no comparison to Shaq

If Shaq played against Wilt..He would drop 80 on him!!
