The Dores have played some stiff competition over the last month, and they’ll face their toughest task of the season tomorrow as they visit GRC.. it’s obvious they are heave heavy underdogs, but what’s your thoughts, can they compete, stay close for a while, or will it be a beat down from top? Either way, glad they are playing this schedule, gotta get ready!!

It won’t even be close. The closet it’ll be is from tip. Worse than last year.

Sometimes you can play too hard of a schedule as well which can destroy the kids confidence. This will be a running clock quickly.

This is not MMA or even football where they weak simply get destroyed: Everyone has a chance in a soft game like basketball. Perry I think will struggle with GRCs defensive pressure BUT if they can find a way to score some baskets and take care of the ball it could be a good basketball game. Shouldn’t wreck a 17/18 year olds confidence just by getting beat bad, it’s a fact of life. Go on to the next game.

I do think we are heavy underdogs and won’t be shocked if we get what 40, but if we hit some shots and rebound, we can hang a round awhile.

If it helps the anxiety any Perry Central needs to understand that although the defending state champs are good they are not as good as last year’s team. The loss of two very good guards to graduation has weakened them some, but not greatly. They still have Morton and Edwards and those two alone are a handful.
I would feel a little more confident that Perry could play them reasonably competitive if Beverly was available but GRC is going to win the game by double digits regardless , the question is how many and how big of digits.
