Not a fan, at least in the postseason. Too much of an opportunity for things to go wrong, especially when one team just played their last game and emotions are running high.
Do your worst.
Do your worst.

I agree with you to a point, but it’s also a life lesson and it’s a part of life. Good coaches teach this throughout the season. Sports is more than a game and it’s also a learning experience about life. We all lose at some point in life and it’s how we handle ourselves is the true character of self. I kinda lean towards handshakes are essential as it teaches sportsmanship
If a player acts out violently then he should be charged for the crime and be punished. That’s the problem with society as there is no consequences for actions anymore.

I agree 100%. That’s what is wrong with society today. Life is certainly not fair. Be a man and own and learn. You’ll be a better person for it. The world will be better for it. Very well said.

I think it's hard to press criminal charges for an incident related to a sporting event in many cases because there are inevitably going to be questions about who the initial aggressor was. Same goes for anything that was said.
Yes, there'll be clear cut instances, but those are usually met with charges now.
Most of these incidents start with something being said, then pushing and shoving, then punches.
Cameras, if they're even still running, are at the top of the gym, and there's lots of similarly dressed people in a large scrum, making it harder to identify what's happening.
