It was scheduled for 7:00 PM last night. I've not found any otheer details. Cabel Midland has two D1 recruits at LB and another on the DL.

The first set of the scrimmage was 10 plays each. From what I was told during that session CM had 3 scores and JC had 2. The next session was 2 fifteen minute sessions with the clock running. The score was kept in this session JC 24 to CM 7. This session was down and distance.

I was also told that CM had at least 3 D1 commits. With one going to WVU, one to NC State and another to Marshall. Their QB was the real deal he was a transfer from Parkersburg South. That kid could play most of the 10 play scrimmage scores were from busted plays with the QB scoring 2-3 times with a run on a broken pass play.

Midland has a squad this year, really good scrimmage for JC to get. how did the running game look against that defense? i see the score, but had this been a game how would JC have faired at moving the sticks consistently and sustaining drives? they're a 14 play drive type of team sometimes, so 10 plays dont tell the full story.

From what people have told me the last part of the scrimmage was played as to half’s being 15 minutes each with the clock running. JC pretty much ran at Will and the defense held the CM to one score in 30 total minutes. Down markers were used as normal for first downs. The JC defense had CM behind the sticks with the running game. Had some trouble with the passing but had good pressure on the QB. I wasn’t there but saw some highlights from others filming.

Midland is definitely loaded with talent. Especially at the QB spot. They’re supposed to have a really good RB too, but he left the game early. It would be hard pressed for us to meet up with a QB that good again this season
