If Russell wins, then that will be proof positive that we are all a part of some kind of simulation.

You are correct. It was a really good game! Nick Britt rushed for almost 2000 yards that season for Russell Co.

Win 200 came during the 1997 season under coach Chuck Smith when Boyle beat Estill County 54-15 in a first-round playoff game.
Win 300 came during the 2005 regular season as coach Chris Pardue’s team defeated Marion County 49-6.
Win 400 came during the 2015 regular season under Smith when Boyle won 42-20 at Danville.
Boyle County’s biggest victory (largest margin) was on 9/30/1966 when it beat Mercer County 80-6 on homecoming for coach Dennis Sexton.
The worst loss Boyle County has endured happened on 10/4/1968 when Somerset defeated the Rebels 60-0 and on 9/16/1977 when Harrodsburg defeated the Rebels by the same score.
Chuck Smith had a 212-44 record in 19 seasons and built Boyle into a state powerhouse during his first stint with the Rebels from 1992-2004 when he went 143-32 and won five state championships and finished second once. Smith also won another state and got beat in the title game once during his second stint at UK from 2014-19.
Coach Larry French was 71-11 in six seasons and won two state championships.
Ed Rall is the school’s second winningest coach as he went 94-57 from 1974-87.
Justin Haddix’s record stands at 45-3 in his fourth season with the Rebels and 3 state championships.

I honestly didn't remember that about our Washington County game that year. I just remembered how promising the start of that season was for all of us.
Rall's Record from 1974-1982, was 71-28 for a winning % of 72%. His last 5 seasons skewed his record downward. That also included 2 District Titles and 2 CKC Titles during those first 9 seasons.
As to the 60-0 vs Harrodsburg in '77 I remember vividly and the Pioneers never scored another point on Boyle until late in the '81 game. Ironically that '77 team would go on to be Ed's first District winner. Anyone who followed Rebel football would have said that the '75 and '76 teams were better but that '77 squad was tough. If Not for Ron Finley, Ed Rall would have very likely added a couple more District Titles to his resume.
