There is one thing I can say these Ram players they are a tuff bunch and will knock your head off and help you up I don’t believe they are any quit in them but they have as good as linebackers as I have seen in 1A this year and I wouldn’t care to bet this game could be closer than some are predicting one never knows how a high school game is going to turn out now I just glad some of their posters ain’t playing or they would probably set this game out hahaha

In all seriousness I think Raceland will come out swinging and will put up a fight but at the end of the day there are simply going to be match up problems that will be difficult to overcome. LCA simply has talent that Raceland doesn’t have and that does make a huge difference. I can see this game playing out much like the game against Paris a few weeks ago with a Raceland putting up a solid effort for a half but ultimately being overwhelmed by a better team.

Hopefully we are healthy enough to get a look at how we have grown, or not grown, since playing Highlands. I do not think LCA is as good as Highlands, but it’s close, imo. LCA has looked like a top 10 team regardless of class, all season. Raceland has shown they are liable of giving up the big play, if they do that like they did against FTH it’s going to be another long night. Have to be able to manufacture drives and keep Boley and Hensley on the sideline

Don’t get your feelings hurt. I was just saying by position group, Raceland doesn’t match up. They have very good LBs. They could make it respectable but they can’t win. As far as best LB group in 1A, I think you will be able to figure that out by the end of the season.

I never get my feelings hurt but I will stand by what I said and still think as a group they are the best Pikeville has the best linebacker in 1A but at least I don’t have to wait until the end of the season to see who wins to predict who I think is the best and you still haven’t said what team has a better group and I never said Raceland was going to win this game and with you name on rivals you act like you are a defensive guru and it shows who made the Patriots team when Tom left

I can only say I saw highlands once, and that was against Cov cath. Early season as well. I know teams improve. But I wasn’t impressed with highlands or Cov cath. Actually that might be a bit harsh. They are both good teams. I was more impressed with Cov cath than them. Both looked to have good size. Decent speed. A few that have really good but overall B to a B+ in speed. It was almost like watching an early 2000 pro style team, but not a true identity, which in itself could be both of theirs since they mixed it up very well. But I don’t see highlands being better than LCA. For the simple fact if they couldn’t stop Lex cath from passing they wouldn’t stop boley. But I do agree it probably is close.

I don’t even like the Patriots. Just a name. But to analyze your chances against LCA, this is your problem. You have to get pressure on Boley. If you do, he does throw it up for grabs. Doesn’t like to be hit. Rams can’t do that with their front 3 and have to blitz LBs which will leave DBs in some man situations and their secondary isn’t the best part of their team. They get beat and they bite on fakes. Also, if you blitz, and Hensley is running and gets by or the play call is right, your guys on the back end aren’t bringing him down easily and he’s going to get his. If you sit back, Hensley will hurt you and Boley will pick you apart with his arm talent. Rams have to mix it up on D and try to keep them guessing. If your defense plays its best game, you can keep it respectable. Offensively, I just don’t see Raceland consistently moving the ball and this is a bigger problem this game. Rams can’t score enough to win. LCAs defensive front will dominate line of scrimmage. DBs are solid and physical. LBs are good. This will be your most physical game of the year and not sure why they scheduled it to end the regular season. Risky in my opinion. I would blow that horn as much as possible and try to distract them.
