Second chance points killed Breathitt. BC couldn’t rebound. It’s early in the season, we will see hazard a couple more times this season I’m sure. Hazard is tough, the addition of Beverly and improvement of combs, they proved their #1 in the region right now.

Breathitt absolutely gave up a ton of offensive boards.
Bulldogs are definitely the top team but I expect Breathitt to improve pretty fast.
Stallard was really impressive in the first half.

Hazard probably has 4 of the top 10 players in the region in Eversole, Caudill, Beverly & Combs. They may not lose to a 14th region opponent all season.

Agreed. Bobcats will get better. Stallard was a good pick up. Bellamy and Hamilton will be hard to replace.

Good hard physical game to start the season off. Both teams will get better and the rust will come off. Being the first game, Hazard is the preseason favorite but there is a whole season to go. Game was close until 4th when Hazard started hitting some shots. Breathitt had spurts to where they where the better team on the floor but the offensive flow wasn't there for most of the game. Really liked the Stallard kid from Breathitt. Hazard's depth was an issue where it hurt them last year. When they go to the bench now they don't fall off with Bevely, Johnosn, and Kincaid coming in. I look for these two to have some big matchups this season because they could see each other several more times. No nets cut down tonight though, still a lot of basketball and growing to do.

Breathitts offense wasn’t impressive other than stallard. They were on sperry and terry hard. I know Collins and the new kid McGinnis can score for them but not sure it was Collins night and didn’t see McGinnis get in until late when they were down by that time. I overheard Wolfe saying they wished he was there and could’ve used him last night. Need to get your big guys posting up. Hazard played how Hazard wanted the game to go. But it’s a long season.
