On Saturday the Williamsburg girls won a road game at Boone County. Much credit to them with an overnight stay and to win on the Boone County gym. The first statement made from the people in the 9th Region they are having a down year. The small schools Lynn Camp, Red Bird, Barbourville, Jackson City don't get to make these excuses. Through the years have Williamsburg won over the county rival Whitley County during the regular season. If Syndey Moss does not move from Ryle to Boone County, they don't win the region.

Williamsburg has beaten others several times. Most recently Whitley in 2020 and Corbin in 2019. Boone has yet to win this year. While any win is good, not quite the GOAT on this one.
