Idk how many points he had, but it felt like #2 (Johnson??) didn’t miss a shot! Kid was very impressive and the difference in this game today.
Same story for Pburg as last night, they played good in the first half, I think they were up 10 at the half, then they fell off hard in the 3rd qtr and never recovered.

Blackcats played a great first half offensively. Probably their best of the season as I mentioned in the prediction thread. Pburg led by 10 at the half and kept it around 5-7 in the 3rd. 4th quarter Valley just outplayed the Blackcats.
Defense and rebounding is what mainly hurt Pburg in this one. SV got a lot of good looks from 3 and easy lay ups, that cannot continue to happen in the half court.
Another solid outing from the 8th grader, Graham Shutts. Kid is getting more and more confident and you can tell he’s been given the green light to take shots. Keathley was really good on offense as he mostly always is. Allen had some great moments as well. I like to continue to see him be a slasher and post player.
Not a loss I’m hanging my head about. They know they should’ve won this one, but they can build from this performance and start picking up wins.
