Forgotten gems from way back
#91
Speaking of crushes and forgotten gems, none bigger than this lady. She found a demo of this track on a casette on the front floor board of Neil Young's car. Neil said if you like it, the song's yours. Boy, did she make it hers... Loved this woman. Beautiful raspy-voice was perfect for this song. Was said to be one of the sweetest people in the music business. RIP Nic...

Loved Wings, so underrated I’ve always thought, even with Sir Paul as the leader.

I know this is almost blasphemy but I actually liked Wings more than the Beatles. Wings was one of my favorite 70's bands. VERY underrated. And Linda MCCartney was criticized relentlessly for adding nothing to the band. I disagree. She was an important part of the sound and I loved her in those old Wings videos. Always loved how Paul adored her.

One of my favorite songs from that special spring and summer of  1974:

Paul wrote this in response to Lennon's criticism of Paul, saying Paul's songs were "silly love songs." Guess Paul showed him

Never understood the criticism about Linda being ugly. I thought she was a very attractive woman. Loved her in the videos.
