Trump talks about his Uncle teaching Ted Kacynski, the Unabomber, while he was a student at MIT. The problem with this part of his story is that Kacynski never attended MIT. Also, he claims that he and his uncle discussed Kacynski and his academic work while there. The problem with this is that the identity of the Unabomber was not known until after Trump's Uncle had died, in addition to the fact that his uncle never taught Kacynski.

Today Trump says that he was surprised that Jerome Powell was appointed Chair of the Federal Reserve, apparently forgetting that he had actually nominated him.
Dementia or lying?
Trump was the one telling the story, so I'm not sure why it struck such a nerve with you. It's pretty simple, either he is definitely showing his age or he is lying.

SEKY, who do you think would be a good president, once this orange scourge has met his end? And please don't say JD Vance...

It was absolutely pathetic to stand and tell 13 mothers and fathers how he knew how it felt to lose a son in combat when he was in fact right at his son’s bedside when he passed……
My favorite is his uncle being eaten by cannibals in WW2….
My point in all this is where was all your self righteousness when Biden was doing it all while crapping his pants and making us a laughing stock on the world stage…..

How do you explain Trump stating twice within the last week that he was going to Russia to meet with Putin this Friday? :woah: Biden would have been blasted for doing something similar.

Which ocean was Trump talking about bordering Ukraine? I need to get out my map as I didn't realize that they were bordered by 1,000 miles of ocean. :sleepy:

Trump, 79, Sparks Dementia Concerns With Weird Cold War Comment.
I'm not sure about the dementia talk. I believe that he and Biden both pretty much show age appropriate mental lapses, which is why there should be age limits in Washington.

US national debt hits record $37 trillion
https://www.foxbusiness.com/economy/us-national-debt-hits-record-37-trillion
Maya MacGuineas, president of the Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget (CRFB) reacted, telling Fox Business, "Reaching this milestone is a moment no one in Washington can be proud of – our fiscal situation is woefully unbalanced, yet Congress keeps on making the situation worse. Even when measuring debt as a share of the economy, we’re headed toward record levels and on course to spend $1 trillion just on interest costs. We will need to act quickly to face the reality of our unsustainable debt, before a fiscal emergency forces our hand."
I'm not sure that I would call what we are experiencing productive, and most Americans seem to agree, as his approval ratings show.
